My mom, sisters and I had our monthly Girls Day Out this week. We put together a heritage shadow box filled with memorablia from my dad’s life.
Soooo…that meant going through LOTS of old pictures and scrapbooks.
I discovered that I had the LOVE of cardmaking as a CHILD! I don’t even remember making these! I couldn’t help but snap a picture of them and post them, just to show you how my cards have evolved over the years. LOL
This card was made when I was 7 years old. I giggle because I am always crossing my eyes to be silly. LOOK at the picture I drew, NOW I KNOW WHY I DO THAT!!
Here is another one. It was a few years later.
Thanks for taking a trip down memory lane with me!
Wow…awesome your mom kept those card! I love it!!!!
Those cards are priceless keepsakes! I think you discovered a piece of yourself back in your childhood.
Lorri,
How sweet! I love that you drew the princess with the crown and everything! I know your sisters and Mom cherish this . I may have to steal your idea, for ” two charming sisters” I am making a *Sister* scrapbook for my sister of all our childhood pics and memories. I think I will have to make a page entitled Two charming sisters. See, you were super creative, even at 7 yrs old!
Hugs to you!
Heidi
Lorri, I see you’ve had your wonderful sense of humor and creative talent all your life! I can’t believe the things you save, girl!!! These are just priceless!
