Dawn Olchefske’s pouch card is really the rage this winter! She has a wonderful video tutorial on how to make this HERE. THANK YOU DAWN!!!
Stamp Set: Scentsational Season
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Be of Good Cheer DSP
Ink: Gumball Green, Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Holiday Collection Framelits, Rhinestone, Blender Pen (used that to take the Gumball Green ink out where the hot chocolate is and then color in with Chocolate Chip marker), Cherry Cobbler Tulle, Simply Scored + Diagonal Plate, Dimensionals, 1/4″ Hole Punch, Chocolate Covered Candy Cane Stick, Hot Chocolate Packet (see SILLY STORY below…..)
Only stamping friends can relate to this…..
So one of my goals last week was to find cute red hot chocolate packets. I went to many stores and they didn’t have Dawn Olchefske’s highly recommended Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate with No Marshmallows. I saw a Nestle’s brand that was in a red box, but there was no view of what the individual packets looked like! So, being the ANAL person that I am, I got my phone out and GOOGLED the Nestle brand cocoa that I am holding in my hand to see if I could see a picture of what the actual packet looks like. No such luck. (BELIEVE ME I was tempted to just open the box to look! LOL)
…..sooooooooo I take my chances and buy 6 boxes of them – PRAYING they are the right COLOR so I don’t have to return them. GOD KNOWS I don’t want to use the BLUE cocoa packets that I already have at home from a different project!
God was smiling down on me – not only were they the right color (red and brown which TOTALLY MATCHED MY PROJECT) but they were even CUTE and totally went with the theme of the project. It doesn’t get much better than that! A fun hot chocolate pouch card with cocoa packets inside that say “MAKING WARM CHOCOLATE MEMORIES”! Who wouldn’t like to receive a fun card like that!
Thanks for letting me share my silly story…… Can anyone else relate? Do you ever go down the store aisles looking for treats to MATCH your projects?? LOL

Here’s a fun interactive MUMMY card, featuring the PeekaBOO Window Frame Die!
Stamp Set: Googly Ghouls, Teeny Tiny Treats
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Basic Black, Soft Suede, Naturals Ivory
Accessories: Googly Eyes, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, Peekaboo Window Frame Die, Muslin (torn into about 3/4″ strips), Alphabet Die (retired)
I didn’t wrap the muslin all the way around the card. I just cut them in strips and taped them to the back of the Soft Suede layer so the card wouldn’t get so thick. I did wrap the very top one all the way around and tied it in a knot in the front.
Here is another card we did at Stamp Club this month.
This is a TOTAL CASE of Michele Reynold’s card, which can be found HERE. It’s hard to see, but the ornament punch was used on the crumb cake cardstock, and then a small piece of the new Stampin’ Up fabric was taped on the back side of the cardstock. I stuck about 1/2 of a cotton ball in there so the ornament “poofs”out a bit. These are fun to make, and it’s something different!
The greenery was made by using one of the trees from Lovely as a Tree.
Stamp Set: All Holidays, Lovely as a Tree
Paper: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke
Accessories: Ornament Punch, Stampin’ Up Fabric, Cottonball, Hemp Twine, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon
Here are the Girl’s Day/Night Out projects we made this month.
Recipe: Stamp Set: Fifth Avenue Floral Paper: Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Basic Gray, Vellum, Whisper White, Sweet Pea DP Ink: Sahara Sand Accessories: Baskets and Blooms Die Cut, White Brads, Eyelet Border Punch, Dimensionals, Kraft Corduroy Button
This is a CASE of a card I receieved at Convention 2 years ago! Jennifer Weide is the creator of this. She used a floral background stamp that is now retired, so I substituted En Francais for the background.
Recipe: Stamp Set: All Holidays, En Francais Paper: Elegant Eggplant, Basic Black, Very Vanilla Ink: Elegant Eggplant Accessories: Elegant Eggplant 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals, Dew Drops
This card features a stamp from Sale A Bration called Happy Moments. One of my customers asked if I could do a “masculine” card, so this is what I came up with. I had seen the bow tied with linen thread on Stacy’s blog, which can be found HERE, and loved that idea!
Recipe: Stamp Set: Happy Moments Paper: Sage Shadow, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White Ink: Stazon Black, Sage Shadow, Always Artichoke, Sahara Sand, Close to Cocoa Accessories: Linen Thread, 3/4″/1″/1 1/4″/Circle Punches, Tiny Tag Punch, Dimensionals (some of the punched circles are popped)
The last project is a gift card holder. I found a video tutorial on how to make this, and it can be found HERE. I did change a few of the things, but the scoring lines and sizes are the same. Inside the card you can add a gift card.
