One of the things I MOST love about Convention is swapping with creative stampers! I received the CUTEST pizza card from Connie Babbert, which can be found HERE. As soon as I saw it, I KNEW I had to make a pizza-box to go with it! This would make an awesome gift. I think it would be fun to put about 4 cards in this gift box along with a gift card to a fun pizza restaurant. You could even make a pizza themed gift and put this in with a pizza cooking stone and pizza cutter. ENDLESS IDEAS!
This was one of my Stamp Club projects this month.
Stamp Set: Word Play, Borderlines, Baroque Motifs
Paper: Crumb Cake, Riding Hood Red, So Saffron, Basic Black, Garden Green
Ink: Riding Hood Red, So Saffron, Soft Suede, Sahara Sand
Accessories: Crumb Cake Seam Binding, Oval Die (crust) 3/4″ Circle Punch (pepperoni), 1/4″ & 1/2″ Circle Punches (black olives), Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch (pepper), Round Tab Punch (mushrooms), 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/4″ Circle Punch, Scallop Oval Punch (bite out of pizza) Daubers, Striped Embossing Folder, Hemp Twine, Dimensionals
The card is 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″. That way it will fit nicely inside the pizza box.
I ran the striped embossing folder on the front of the card, first vertically and then horizontally. It has kind of a checkered pattern on it when you are done. Be sure and punch the “bite” out of the pizza!
The pizza box was super easy to make! The Riding Hood Red cardstock on the top of the pizza box was ran through the striped embossing folder vertically.
This card was actually part of my inspiration for the last card I made. We made this card at the class I am teaching at the church I attend. I liked the look of silver, black and red, so that is how I came up with the previous card that was posted. I am going to use this card to give to my husband on our anniversary this month.Recipe:Stamp Sets: Baroque Motifs, Mon AmiPaper: Real Red, Basic Black, SilverInk: Basic Black, SilverAccessories: Silver Brads, Black Gingham Ribbon, Silver Cording
WAY TO GO NANCY! I just have to “toot her horn” because she has had a BIG week! Nancy Riley is my “sideline”, and we host our monthly downline meetings (we call ourselves the weSTAMP group, which the name is a take off on Nancy’s iSTAMP blog.) Anyhow, check out Nancy’s blog HERE. You can see for yourself WHY her week was SO BIG! Nancy was the featured stamper on SCS, which is such a privilege to be asked to do! Not only that, but she has been added as a guest designer for the company “Paper Pretties”! WOOOHOOO! I tease her that she is a “SUPERSTAR” now! I am SO EXCITED for her. She is one of sweetest stampers and friends I know!
To celebrate her achievements this week, I took part in the weekly challenge honoring her. Here is the challenge info on SCS, HERE. I made a card for her (which will be sent to her in the mail, congratulating her) and I’m sure she’ll see it online before she gets it…..LOL). What you do for this challenge is CASE one of her cards, but change a couple things on it. I chose to case THIS card. This is what I came up with. Hope she likes it!Recipe: Stamp Sets: Happy Heart Day, Baroque Motifs, Time Well Spent Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Silver Ink: Basic Black, Silver Accessories: Square Punches, Black Gingham Ribbon, Silver Cording, Red Prima Flower, Black Brad
