Secret Garden 3-D Card

IMG_0838 copy

Here’s a card using a fun technique! The “HI” is actually raised with Dimensionals to give a subtle 3-D look!

Here’s how you make it!

  • Cut out your letters using the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die.
  • Set the cut out letters on your Whisper White card
  • Stamp floral images on top of cardstock AND letters, being careful that they don’t move
  • When you are finished, add Dimensionals behind the letters – VOILA!

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Secret Garden
Paper: Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Canteloupe
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Crisp Canteloupe, Pear Pizzaz

Fall Pumpkin Card

Here’s a card we made at one of my classes last month.  I was inspired by Penny Smiley’s card HERE. Penny is such a creative gal, I LOVE her work!  I got to meet her at Convention, she’s such a sweetheart!

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Just Believe
Paper: Very Vanilla, Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP, Pumpkin Pie
Ink: Soft Suede, Old Olive
Accessories: 3/8″ Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon, Linen Thread, Designer Frames Folder, 1″ Circle Punch, Dimensionals (top Very Vanilla layer has dimensionals behind it)

Note: When you emboss the oval frame, you can’t build the Big Shot platform up like you normally do or you will see the folder marks. I used the platform WITHOUT Tabs 1 or 2.

French Foliage

At Founder’s Circle I received a beautiful card from Frenchie! I KNEW my Stamp Club peeps would love it, too! You can view Frenchie’s video HERE.

I changed a couple things on my card. Before I removed the mask, I sprayed the colored image with Champagne Shimmer Paint mixed with rubbing alcohol, using the new Stampin’ Spritzer. The recipe I use to make the shimmer mist is to fill the Stampin’ Spritzer with rubbing alcohol to about 1/4″ from the top, then pour about 1/8 t. of Champagne Shimmer Paint into the alcohol. Shake it up and spritz the stamped image!

Paper: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla

Ink: Old Olive, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso

Accessories: Champagne Shimmer Paint, Stampin’ Spritzer, Rubbing Alcohol, Brushed Bronze Button, Linen Thread
