I LOVE the many cards made with the Tag Die, and this layout! I think the originator of this style of card is Stacy Schaefer, whose card can be found HERE. Take a look at Becky Robert’s card, too! You can find hers HERE. This was a card we made at Girl’s Day/Night Out this month. If you are in the Phoenix area and want to attend one of my classes, please check my class schedule HERE.

I almost forgot about the spider stamp in the stamp set SWEET CENTERS! This stamp goes well with the new spider web embossing folder!
This was another one of the Girl’s Day/Night Out projects this month. Recipe: Stamp Set: Sweet Centers Paper: Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry, Happy Haunting DP, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Whisper White Ink: Basic Black Accessories: Large Scallop Circle, 1 3/4″/1 3/8″/1 1/4″ Circle Punches, Spider Web Embossing Folder
REVISED POST WITH INSTRUCTIONS Here’s another card we made at my Girl’s Day/Night Out class this month. Gotta LOVE those test tubes at Halloween time!
I CASED the card pattern from Sharon Rivera, and her blog/card can be found HERE. However, I had to alter the cuts for the test tubes so it would fit the tubes I had. I purchased my test tubes from SKS Bottle & Packaging, Inc. (Size: 3/4″ x 6″)
I also did another CASE on this card! The center circle was CASED from a COOL swap I got at Convention. The gal who made the card is Catherine Sanders. Unfortunately she doesn’t have a blog (yet???) but her card can be seen by Stampin’ Up demonstrators over on Stampin’ Connection. I loved how she arranged the circles, so I incorporated that part of her card onto this card.
Recipe: Stamp Set: Wicked Cool Paper: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight Ink: Basic Black Accessories: Test Tube, Pumpkin Pie Striped Ribbon (Retired), Candy Corn, Coluzzle (2 7/8″ Circle), 1 1/4″/1″/3/4″ Circle Punches, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Dimensionals
The black cardstock is cut to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. Score at 3 1/2″, 4 1/4″ and 5″ on the long side of the card (8 1/2″ side).Fold the card in half (on the 4 1/4″ score) as pictured below. Then make 4 small slits from the fold in the card to the score line. I started about 3/4″ from each end, and then cut about 3/4″ from that first cut. Then just slide the tube down the cylinders that it makes.
I have always LOVED THIS CARD that Nancy Riley made almost a year ago to the day! If you haven’t seen her blog, please take some time to check it out! This is one of the cards we made at my Girl’s Day/Night Out class this month. Recipe: Stamp Set: Falling Leaves Paper: Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla Ink: Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Always Artichoke Accessories: 5/8″ Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, Gold Brads, Dimenstionals, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Square Lattice Embossing Folder
I’ve been on an OREO KICK the last couple of months! I saw a card-front like this at Convention this year. I don’t even own the card, but I took a photo of some else who swapped for it. Sorry, I don’t even know who designed this! (If you know who it is, please let me know so I can give her credit!) I just knew I wanted to do this at one of my classes! (I should have saved my Oreo Truffle for THIS class! LOL Truffle recipe can be found HERE. NOTE: I got an email from a stamper (Cheryl) who received this swap at convention. She told me the gal who created this card is Susan Campfield from MInnesota!! YAY this mystery is solved!! Thanks for the info Cheryl!!
I decided I HAD to decorate the inside!! The inside is an oreo with a bite taken out of it, with crumbs at the bottom.
Recipe: Stamp Set: Got Treats?, Itty Bitty Backgrounds, Occasional Quotes Paper: Whisper White, Riding Hood Red, Early Espresso Ink: Early Espresso, Craft White Accessories: 1 3/4″ / 1 3/8″ Circle Punches, Scallop Circle Punch, Embossing Folders: Square Lattice, Vintage Wallpaper, Large Scallop Die, Coluzzle, Dimensionals (to make top oreo cookie POP)
I made an Eclair Desert for our treat this month. I’m sorry I took the picture from the blog I found it on: Little Birdie Secrets. (I forgot to take a picture of the one I made.)
Eclair Dessert 2 small packages instant vanilla pudding 3 cups milk 1 can of chocolate frosting (or your own recipe) 8 oz. cool whip 1 box of graham crackers
Stir pudding mix and milk together and let set for 5 minutes. Fold in cool whip. In a 9 x 13 pan layer graham crackers (I usually break some to get them to fit right). Then layer on 1/3 of the pudding mixture. Layer twice more (layers should go: crackers, pudding, crackers pudding, crackers, pudding, crackers). Then spread frosting all over the top. Let set overnight or at least 3 hours.
Just had to post a photo of the two that are still at home with us. Little Brady started 1st grade a couple weeks ago, and his sister, Brittany, is going to be student teaching IN HIS CLASS 2nd quarter! (Not sure how THAT is going to work out!) Here is one of my favorite photos of them, Brady’s look says it ALL!
Now onto some cards!! This is one of the cards we made at Girls Day/Night Out this month. There are a lot of versions of this card on SCS.
Recipe: Paper: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, DP (Retired) Accessories: Top Note Die, Build A Brad, 1/2″ Circle Punch, Baja Breeze Ribbon (Retired)I just scored the Chocolate Chip Top Note die piece down about 1 1/4. Then I CUT the DP piece about 1 1/2″ so that both sides will show the same. (If you fold the DP down, you will see the back side of the DP, that is why I cut it.)
The first one is a fun little lady bug. The wings open up to reveal the sentiment. I found the idea on Marie Shaughnessy’s blog, which can be found HERE. She did a lady bug box, and I took that idea and made it into a card. Recipe:Stamp Set: Kind and Caring Thoughts (Level 3 Hostess Set)Paper: Basic Black, Real RedInk: Craft WhiteAccessories: Large Scallop Die, 3/4″/1 3/4″/1/4″ Circle Punches, Wide Oval Punch, Black Brads
The next card features the Extra Large Two-Step bird punch, which is STILL AVAILABLE! This punch was carried over and is available by entering number 117191 on my SU business website HERE. I saw the idea on Brenda Keenana’s blog and totally CASED her! Her blog can be found HERE. Recipe:

The sketch looked like this:

Simple card using one of my all-time favorite stamp sets, Tart and Tangy! Angie Cortes made a really cute card that I was inspired by. Her card can be found HERE. Recipe:Stamp Set: Tart and Tangy, Crazy for CupcakesPaper: Whisper White, Real Red, Cast-A-Spell DPInk: Basic Black, Old OliveAccessories: Red BLING Jewels, 1″ Real Red Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals, Polka Dot Embossing Folder
I was inspired by one of our weSTAMPERS for this fancy fold card. Peggy Powers made a card using this paper and fold at our last weSTAMP meeting. Her card can be found HERE.
Stamp Set: Eggcoutrements
Paper: Whisper White, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Retired SU DSP
Ink: Certainly Celery
Accessories: Daisy Die Cut, 1″/1 1/4″ Circle Punches, Dimensionals, Polka Dot Embossing Folder
Beate didi a tutorial for this frame, which can be found HERE. However, I did mine in an easier way. I just put a dot in the middle of the paper and folded all corners up to the middle. Then I just eyeballed the second fold back about 3/8″. Also, my square cut out of DP was 4″ so it would fit in an envelope.
This last card was a CASE of Jennifer Timko’s card, which can be found HERE. I like how the “In Colors” POP against the black cardstick. The layout of this card can be used with many different stamp sets and colors.

This is a CASE of a card I receieved at Convention 2 years ago! Jennifer Weide is the creator of this. She used a floral background stamp that is now retired, so I substituted En Francais for the background.
Recipe: Stamp Set: All Holidays, En Francais Paper: Elegant Eggplant, Basic Black, Very Vanilla Ink: Elegant Eggplant Accessories: Elegant Eggplant 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals, Dew Drops
This card features a stamp from Sale A Bration called Happy Moments. One of my customers asked if I could do a “masculine” card, so this is what I came up with. I had seen the bow tied with linen thread on Stacy’s blog, which can be found HERE, and loved that idea!
Recipe: Stamp Set: Happy Moments Paper: Sage Shadow, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White Ink: Stazon Black, Sage Shadow, Always Artichoke, Sahara Sand, Close to Cocoa Accessories: Linen Thread, 3/4″/1″/1 1/4″/Circle Punches, Tiny Tag Punch, Dimensionals (some of the punched circles are popped)
The last project is a gift card holder. I found a video tutorial on how to make this, and it can be found HERE. I did change a few of the things, but the scoring lines and sizes are the same. Inside the card you can add a gift card.
These are the projects we made at Girls Day/Night Out this month.
The first one is kind has a unique fold to it. I got a card with this type of fold at Leadership, and LOVED how the fold went. Just the top two layers lift up and the sentiment is underneath.
Recipe:Stamp Set: Holiday BestPaper: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla, Sending Love DPInk: Real RedAccessories: Chocolate Chip 5/8″ Satin Ribbon, Polka Dots Embossing Folder

Becky Roberts does it again! She posted this way back in September of last year! I have been SAVING this little mail box for my gals this month! It’s so tiny and cute, but it actually took longer to make than the cards! Check out Becky’s post HERE.
Recipe:Paper: Real Red, Very Vanilla, Sending Love DPAccessories: Heart to Heart Punch, Paper Piercer, Gold Brad, 2 Hershey Nuggets
I saw Kristin Moore’s card on SCS HERE. LOVED how she copied the raccoon tail in the ribbon! I added a Dove chocolate to the punched heart opening. My words on the bottom aren’t very straight, wish I had this one in the CLEAR stamps! I got this set FREE at Leadership this month!!
Recipe Stamp Set: Love Bandit Paper: Real Red, Very Vanilla, Basic Black Ink: Basic Black, Real RedAccessories: Dove CHOCOLATE :), Heart Punch, 1 1/4″ Black Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals to POP the Raccoon
This is the card we made at my Dec. Girls Day/Night Out that I didn’t want to show you until after Leadership this week. There’s an awesome video tutorial by Angie Kennedy Juda on her blog, found HERE. This card has a Christmas flair to it. The side swivels open on the brad that you can see on the left side. Inside is a gift card!
These versions are for a WOW swap I am in this week at Leadership, which is happening right here in Phoenix!!
