Here’s a photo from pumpkin carving last night – HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Here’s a Halloween card, I didn’t have to do much because of this beautiful Designer Series Paper! The tree and moon are already printed on the paper!
I added an extra branch die cut from the Seasonal Layers Thinlit Dies to give a 3-D effect. Don’t forget, when you use photopolymer stamps, you need to use a Stampin’ Pierce Mat underneath the cardstock to get a better stamped image! It needs that little extra “cush-layer” that photopolymer stamps don’t have!
Here’s another card using the Spooky Cat bundle! It’s not too late to get this stamp set, punch and paper!
The Basic Black and Very Vanilla cardstock both have been embossed with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.
Larger square is 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″
Smaller square is 1 5/8″ x 1 5/8″
Cat eyes are black rhinestone jewels
This is a great layout to use for any season! I love how it showcases the Designer Series Paper!
Recipe at the end of post.
I love baking with my grandkids. Here’s Stella and I making some spider cookies! They are just peanut butter cookies with Reeses peanut butter cups in the middle! Because the cookie is hot out of the oven, it will melt it a bit and it will look smooth. They were so much fun!
We also made a skeleton out of Qtips! Thanks, Pinterest, for the idea!
Here’s a treat for Halloween! This was designed by fellow weSTAMPER, Jennie Portonova for our team meeting last month! Super simple to make, just stamp, cut out, and use an Xacto knife to make some slits! ENJOY!
You can now order these Stitched Framelits! They are so beautiful and it’s so nice all these shapes come in one bundle! Check it out!
Check out these products that are discounted 25% Nov. 1st – 30th! (Click on image below to enlarge)

Here are our little sweeties on Halloween. We always have so much fun!! We have the BEST NEIGHBORHOOD for trick or treating!
Stella and our newest grandbaby, Reese. (Dan doesn’t normally wear wild clothes…. like HK Army, he dressed up for Halloween at work and was a paintballer. Brady was THRILLED!)
Here is the Peter Pan family! I always love the themes Britt comes up with!!!
Here’s a photo of my sweeties in Atlanta, Eli is a firefirefighter and Claire is a dalmation. You can see Shannon’s little BUMP in the photo!! Brook isn’t in the pictures because he is deployed – can’t share details where, but there is definitely a war going on!!! Please say your prayers for him!! THANK YOU DEAR FRIENDS!!!!
Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!
Here’s a little treat for you that I made for you!
If you know me well, you know I LOVE themed anything! Especially gifts! My sweet friend, Becky Roberts, celebrated a birthday this month. I always have a hard time keeping Halloween out of her birthday because it falls in the fun month of October.
Becky loves office type things, so here’s what I came up with!
You may recognize the mummy card from a previous post HERE. I just added some lines behind the mummy using the stamp “Writing Notes” so the card would go with the theme. I also stamped on the envelope and used “Labeler Alphabet” to stamp her name on it.
I picked up the marker board at West Elm. You can also serve food on and write what you are serving on it (cheeses, meats, etc.)
The bag I picked up at Hobby Lobby, then sewed Pool Party and Real Red lines on it. I cut “becky” out with my Silhouette machine and ironed it on the bag. Super fun to make! 🙂 I saw the bag idea on Pinterest HERE.
