Here’s a Halloween card we made at the Cozy Craft Retreat! I love this cute bundle! If you were at my house having a cup of coffee, you would see sprinkles of witch feet decorating my whole house! I love them! This bundle is in low inventory so grab it while it’s here!
We made 6 Halloween projects in this class! You can purchase the tutorial of all 6 project HERE.
Supply List:
I still have more retreat photos for you, but taking a quick break from them to post a Halloween project or two! SOON it will be Oct. and I need to post Halloween ideas before it’s too late!
My favorite stamp set for the Halloween season was Trick or Tweet. The cutest little animals are in this set!
If you know me well, you know I have a fetish for candy corn – not necessarily to EAT them (although they are YUMMY with peanuts), but the decorate and use the color scheme with! Seems every year some how I incorporate the 3 candy corn colors in a card. Here’s this year’s version!
The little sign is hard to see, here’s a better version of the laminated sign I made. THANKS Jennie Portonova for sending this cartoon to me! She knows I get a kick out of candy corn things!
The witch feet are from Michael’s Craft Store.

Today starts the SALE! Please read previous post HERE for details!
I’m not sure if you knew this about me, but I am a candy corn NUT! I LOVE candy corn and my favorite way to eat them is mixed with salted peanuts. It tastes like a Salted Nut Roll (if you’re from MN) or PayDay (if you’re from AZ). I have so many candy corn decor in my house! Here’s a photo of my latest pedicure, and my flip flops that a friend made me! I love them!
I love baking and these desserts were a hit this month! The recipe can be found HERE. I tweaked the frosting a bit. I like cream cheese in my frosting, so I added about 1/4 of a block, along with 1 t. of vanilla paste (if you haven’t ever tried this, it is so much better than regular vanilla! It can be found on Amazon HERE.) I use these Witch Feet in everything! I used the retired Top Note die and some popsicle sticks in the legs.
Don’t gross out about the flower! I have a bin of all different colored flowers from the craft store that are ONLY used for baking! They wash up well with Dawn soap when I am done with them.
This 2nd recipe has a pumpkin spice flavor as well, but with a layer of pudding. The recipe can be found HERE.
I tweaked the frosting a bit. I wanted it to last 2 days so I just used Cool Whip instead of homemade whipped cream. I LOVE that the Cool Whip has CINNAMON in it!! I also skipped the maple syrup in the frosting.
I’ll save you some time, the ONLY place I could find Pumpkin flavored pudding was at Walmart! I checked 5 grocery stores!!
Hope you enjoy!!
At Convention, it is tradition to make gifts for your roommates. This is what I came up with.
The cauldron pattern was found online here. I cut it out with my Cameo Silhouette machine. The witch feet were made in a previous post HERE. I use those feet ALL THE TIME! They are fun to stick in a bowl of snacks around Halloween. (You can click on photos to make them larger)
This little Frankenstein was so easy to make. I bought some Orbit gum at Walmart (tiny size) and then just made a wrap around it using Gumball Green cardstock. I poked holes in the sides and put two silver brads in there. The hair was created using a non SU punch called GOOEY or something like that! The eyes were made with circle punches.
This treat pocket was made by using the Chalk Talk framelit.
The monster treat holder is just a matchbox style project. There is a small pack of M&Ms inside.
This month the theme for our weSTAMP swap is “Fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving”, card or 3-D. How about BOTH! Here’s a 3-D card I came up with. Even though the witch legs and broom stick out, it can all be folded to one side and it fits in a medium sized envelope!
I saw Jennifer Eby’s “Christmas Door” on Stampin’ Connection (visable only by Stampin’ Up demonstrators on the Stampin’ Up website). I decided to make my door with a Halloween twist.
Inside of card: Recipe:
Stamp Set: Wicked Cool, Woodgrain
Paper: Soft Suede, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Elegant Eggplant, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Soft Suede, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Punches (Decorative Label, Curly Label, 1 3/4″ Circle, 1/2″ Circle), Brad, Waffle Paper (for broom), Dimensionals (front panels on door are POPPED), Distressing Tool, Daubers
Most of this you can just kind of figure out by viewing the card. Here’s a few more helpful hints:
Witch Hat: Scrunched and distressed to simulate the “CRASH”, make 3 slits in the witch hat so you can put the broom and legs in this piece BEFORE taping it to the door
Door panels: Dimensionals behind them to make them POP. I used daubers and inked the edges of the door panels to make them stand out more.
Broom: Stick is 2 3/4″ x 1/8″ wide. Broom end is waffle paper wrapped around the end a couple times, then cut to make the fringes. I just used Tombo glue to attach it to the broom end. Scrunch the end that is closest to the broom.
Witch Legs: Legs are 2″ x 3/8″ and cut out of black cardstock. I cut tiny strips of orange paper and glued them to the legs to make her stockings. Stick the legs into the witch hat slits that you already cut and tape to the back side of witch hat. Bend the legs so they stick out perpendicular to the door.
Witch Feet: If you have Google Reader, you can upload the feet (and 1/2 circle window on door) HERE. I cut out 2 feet per leg so it looks good on both sides. The witch leg is sandwiched inbetween the 2 feet. To make the buckle, cut 4 squares 1/4″ x 1/4″ out of Elegant Eggplant. Then 2 smaller black squares to go inside the buckle. I used 2 buckles per shoe, again, so it looks good on both sides.
Door Knob: Punch 1/2″ circle out of Chocolate Chip paper, then pierce a brad through the circle. Attach to door front with a glue dot.

Some days I crave sweets so much this is what I feel like doing!
Here’s one of the make and takes from our weSTAMP Christmas party. I LOVE all forms of these legs that can really brighten up a party! I have done witch legs in the past HERE.
To create the elf feet, I just used the Top Note die and cut it equally into 4ths (one Top Note die will make 2 pairs of feet).
Punch the top of the shoes using the XL Oval for the larger punch, and the 3/4″ Circle for the smaller punch. Tape them together.
The ends have popsicle sticks that aren’t covered in DSP.
The link to the M&M’s poem can be found HERE.
Here’s a card we made at Stamp Club this month! Becky Roberts sent me one of these cards last year (see her card HERE), and I could feel a CASE coming on! She has awesome instructions on how to make the elf boot using punches. While you’re over there, check out her 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS! You will find DARLING CHRISTMAS PROJECTS!
Here’s a fun Halloween treat! I made the witch’s feet just like the elf feet above! To make the legs, I put DSP on thick tagboard, and taped Popsicle sticks in the ends of them.
The recipe to the Microwave Caramel Corn can be found HERE.
I have had this house for quite some time, and just haven’t gotten around to altering it. I’m about ready to start on Christmas projects, so I thought I better get going on this! It was SO MUCH FUN TO MAKE! These houses are so easy to assemble. After assembling the house, I sprayed it with a matte black paint.
To make the bat, I just spread Tombo glue all over the bat and then some chunky glitter! I bent the wings back so he pops off the door.
Do you recognize these witch’s feet? I used the same pattern as on my weSTAMP swap last month. You can see the post and get the FREE pattern on my other post HERE. The stockings are part of the “Wicked Fun Specialty” Designer Series Paper.
