Here’s a coordinating card and treat box for you! This print is great because even after the Halloween season, you can use it for the rest of fall, right up until Thanksgiving!
You know me, I love anything coffee related! Hope you enjoy!
Here are some tips!
Card base is Early Espresso cardstock
The lips were stamped with an old lip stamp set I had from years before (I’ll never get rid of it because I like to add lipstick prints to my coffee cup lids!)
Treat bag is a simple pattern I found created by Julie Davison HERE. Thanks for the inspiration, Julie! (I just made a straight top edge instead of the fancy rotary cutter she used)
Make sure if you have a pattern that the image is cut and scored so the pumpkins are upright! (Ask me how I know! LOL)
I always look forward to fall birthdays because I can combine some of my birthday stamp sets with the NEW FALL PRODUCTS! I fussy cut the pumpkins and adhered with Dimensionals. To achieve the eclipse technique, die cut the sentiment Happy Birthday out of the Designer Series Paper, then adhere using Dimensionals right in the same spot that you cut it out of!
Here’s the card that didn’t load yesterday!!! This card was a CASE of Susan Adam’s swap card at an event when I attended Founder’s Circle. I love the Leaf Framelits as a peek a boo window on a card!
Here are some Convention gifts I made for friends! I love theme gifts, and these bags are filled with caramel apple treats!
The little gift bag tags are actually caramel apple suckers (you can find them anywhere at Halloween time, but Cracker Barrel always sells them.) I think they are made by Charms. I adhered a caramel apple made from card stock ontop of the sucker, then slipped it in a clear envelope to make the apple wrapper.
In back of the sucker treat, I made some homemade caramels (they don’t stick to your teeth either!)
The pattern for the apple is hand drawn. Once you make the pattern you can enlarge or shrink it down! Here it is!
I also included in the gift bag was caramel corn. I think this is the recipe that I make the most in our house! You can find the recipe HERE.
This candy is Werthers Caramel Apple. Again, I found these at Cracker Barrel.
This little Berry Basket (made from Stampin’ Up die) has lots of goodies in it! I found the cute little APPLE Kerr jar candles at Hobby Lobby. I filled the basket with more homemade caramels. The tag has a tiny little caramel apple (shrunk down from the pattern above). I used the stamp set “You’re So Sweet” on the tag.
Last but not least, good ol’ Cracker Barrel had Caramel Apple Sugar Babies!
Here’s a fall card we made at my Regional event. This stamp set can is so versatile, it can be used for ANY SEASON!
Here are some more Founder’s Circle photos from my amazing weekend there!
My team for some of the events was the Jingle Bells! We had an awesome team of gals! On the first day we had to create a gingerbread house. That didn’t work out so well but we sure had fun!
Here’s a card we made at one of my classes last month. I was inspired by Penny Smiley’s card HERE. Penny is such a creative gal, I LOVE her work! I got to meet her at Convention, she’s such a sweetheart!
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Just Believe
Paper: Very Vanilla, Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP, Pumpkin Pie
Ink: Soft Suede, Old Olive
Accessories: 3/8″ Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon, Linen Thread, Designer Frames Folder, 1″ Circle Punch, Dimensionals (top Very Vanilla layer has dimensionals behind it)
Note: When you emboss the oval frame, you can’t build the Big Shot platform up like you normally do or you will see the folder marks. I used the platform WITHOUT Tabs 1 or 2.
