Today my sweetie and I leave for Norway! Here is a video of our pillow gifts that were sent to us prior to the trip. This is so exciting, especially since I’m Norwegian! I can’t wait to see this country!!!!
Here’s a video of my unboxing! Hope you enjoy! See you again soon!
Thank you so much for supporting me in my Stampin’ Up business! Without my customers and team, I would not be on this trip!

One of the things I thoroughly enjoy on the Stampin’ Up Incentive Trip is handing out pillow gifts to my friends! This is what I came up with this year! The soap smells like pineapples and the colors coordinate with the tag. I told Carrie Cudney, who makes the soap, my vision and she NAILED IT with the soap she created for me! Isn’t she amazing? I put her links below the video later in the post.
Here’s today’s YouTube Live link! I hope you enjoy the Maui Pillow Gift idea!
You’ve got to check out Carrie Cudney’s “Pink Squirrel Soap Company” business! Her soaps smell so YUMMY and almost look edible! She’s amazing!

Here’s a quick and easy card featuring the Lemon Zest Bundle! You don’t have to add a lot more to the card when you use this stamp and punch! Think outside the box and use the Designer Series Paper – Coffee Break with this stamp set! Pear Pizzazz so nicely with this bundle! And don’t forget the beautiful Layered Leaves Embossing Folder! It is one of the new 3-D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder!
Here are some more Thailand Photos! This was the view from our room, absolutely gorgeous!Loved spending time with these couples: Jeanne and Steve Moss and Eric and Connie Babbert! So much fun! This is one of the BEST parts of the trips, spending time with friends! Here is Michelle and Russ Zindorf, Dan and I, Mike and Sherri Peters and Rhonda and Dave Morgan. LOVE these folks as well! Our traveling buds!!!!
This day was another one of the highlights of the trip. We took speed boats out to this area where there are rock formations in the water. There were kayaks ready for us and we didn’t even have to paddle! Because of the high tide, some of the openings were so small, we had to physically lie down in the boat to get through!
They took us around the rock formations, and even into some VERY DESOLATE areas. You could have heard a pin drop – no one else in there and calm, still water. That is where our driver carved a heart from a leaf and we had fun with photos!
That is the heart that was cut from the leaf on the side of my cheek and it sticks from the humidity in there.
After our ride was over, we got back on this big boat, then on to our speed boat to head to this floating village. There’s my handsome hubby and groovy son LOL
We saw all kinds of things on this floating village. There was a large restaurant, looked like you could rent it or have a wedding reception there! There was a school (photo above), which was quite interesting!
Once we were in the boats again, we drove past the area where they filmed the James Bond movie, The Man with the Golden Gun. Here’s a shot from the movie: And here’s what it looked like when we rode past it: Pretty awesome!
The last part of this excursion took us to a small remote island where Stampin’ Up treated us to a beautiful Thai lunch and a beach day!
This day will be etched in my mind forever! It was a special day, to say the least!
I was inspired by Shelly Godby’s card I saw on Pinterest and finally tracked down her blog and post HERE. I changed it up a bit with some current products (however, the bandaged part of the gingerbread is retired). I made the cookie sheet by scoring twice 1/8″ apart from each other, and then punching with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.
The products used are at the bottom of this post.
Here are some more Thailand photos! I’m still a bit jet-lagged!! It was totally worth it, though!
This photo above was taken at the entrance of our resort. There’s all kinds of creatures there! Some of them (like this one) will make you jump!
One of the trip highlights was the Elephant Sanctuary! Here we are feeding these beautiful animals! There is a big controversy over there with the elephants! Many are being rescued and brought to this safe haven, where they won’t get abused anymore. When they are trained so you can ride them, they are quite abusive to them. We had to watch a video on it, so we would understand why they formed the elephant sanctuary. Many people shed tears while watching the video when you see what they do to the animals!
I’m back from our China and Thailand trip, and trying to adjust to AZ time! It’s hard to capture this whole experience in photos. Let’s just say Stampin’ Up treats their demonstrators right and we were SPOILED ROTTEN by them!
Before we left China, I snapped a photo of a sign on a bench in the airport. I had to chuckle at that!
Landed in Phuket, Thailand on July 9th and we were treated like royalty!!
They always make a cute little door sign for us!Beautiful fruit basket was inside our room! Exotic fruits and mini bananas!
Rhonda Morgan and I laugh, we both live in AZ, yet travel half way across the world to see each other and catch up! LOLBreakfast each morning to start out our day, there was something for everyone here!
Cappuccino with cute little designs on top as a HIT with Dan and I!REAL honey!
