I dusted off my Watercolor Pencils and played with them today!
I’ve been a little under the weather, but have STILL been creating in my craft room! Here’s my video today, to help you create a fun Thanksgiving treat for your guests!
This card was featured in my Creative U. class last month! It’s fun to layer different sized circles and colors to with a banner across the front with your sentiment.
If you placed an order of $35+, this was one of 3 card kits you received in the mail!
If you want to join us next month, please place your order any time between now and Nov. 10th. Please use Host Code: 4C24NE2N
See you Friday for another make and take project on my blog HERE or HERE.
This is one of the cards we made at the Cozy Craft Retreat-in-a-box! You can view ALL of the projects that we made HERE.
My tutorial is also for sale at that same link above – this PDF includes patterns and instructions for 22 projects!!!!!
Take advantage of the Designer Series Paper sale going on right now! This paper is such an awesome collection because you can hit ALL OCCASIONS with one paper pack! Fall, Halloween, Christmas and every day!
My computer has been on the blink for 5 days now!!! I’m falling so far behind! It’s in the shop, hopefully next week I will have it back.
Here’s a simple Thanksgiving card for you!
To make the two-toned leaves,
Ink up the solid leaf stamp from the Colorful Seasons stamp set with Crushed Curry ink.
Take a sponge dauber and literally ink up just the edges of that same stamp with Pumpkin Pie ink, and then stamp on to Very Vanilla scrap piece of cardstock.
Ink up the same solid leaf stamp again with Pumpkin Pie ink.
Take a sponge dauber and literally ink up just the edges of that same stamp with Cherry Cobbler ink, and stamp on to Very Vanilla scrap piece of cardstock.
Here’s a card we made at one of my classes last month. I was inspired by Penny Smiley’s card HERE. Penny is such a creative gal, I LOVE her work! I got to meet her at Convention, she’s such a sweetheart!
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Just Believe
Paper: Very Vanilla, Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP, Pumpkin Pie
Ink: Soft Suede, Old Olive
Accessories: 3/8″ Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon, Linen Thread, Designer Frames Folder, 1″ Circle Punch, Dimensionals (top Very Vanilla layer has dimensionals behind it)
Note: When you emboss the oval frame, you can’t build the Big Shot platform up like you normally do or you will see the folder marks. I used the platform WITHOUT Tabs 1 or 2.
