Here is one of the cards that we made at the Holiday Extravaganza!! I designed this card and also used this in my Control Freak swap a couple of months ago. This is a diorama style card. The base of the card is a piece of 12″ x 5 1/2″. You score the 12″ side at: 1/2″, 4″, 4 1/2″ & 8″.
The cookie sheet is created with the Two Tags die. You cut two of just the ends of the larger tag (the part with the rounded edge as shown above) out of Brushed Silver cardstock. Score them at 5/8″ and 7/8″ from the rounded side. Fold on the score lines (mountain fold, then valley fold).
Then cut a piece of Brushed Silver Cardstock to 3″ x 2 3/4″ and adhere that piece ontop of the ends of the cookie sheet. You can see what I mean by the photo below and how you get that “3-D” look.
The oven mitt was just hand drawn (and then cut out with my Silhouette machine because I had to cut so many of them!!)
I will post more photos of projects and cap it off with a slide show of our event. Check back!!
I wanna be as creative as you are when I grow up…. no wait, it’s too late, I’m on the downhill slide. Thank you for sharing your sensational creativity….
This would be so cute to give with a plate of Christmas cookies! Really cute design, Lorri.
This is so stinking cute! I can’t wait to make a few of these for gift giving.
Lorri ~ after making this at your Holiday Extravaganza, I experimented with the Mitten Punch and it worked great! Just punched one in card stock and the 2nd one in DSP, then trimmed the cuff off the cardstock one along the sides and then hand trimmed just a “smidge” off all around on the DSP and it looks pretty darn good!
I wouldn’t want to do it for 60 people, but for a small group, they can manage it – it hones paper snipping skills. LOL

I love your creative idea for the cookie sheet – sooo cutee! Good job! When do we eat the cookies?
You always have the coolest card of the bunch, Lorri! This one is so creative, as always. Still a big fan of your work!
Cindy 🙂
I love your card, I love the little gingerbread snowmen.
I love the 3-D item with this card. The child in all of us will love it.
