BUSY WEEK!

BUSY BUSY BUSY are the only words that can describe the past 7 days here…..

I could not having gotten through this week without the support of my hubby and son, who graciously helped me prep for my classes last week! I am so grateful to them!

Even though it’s been super busy, I still carved out some time to craft with my friend! We have been wanting to work on our summer sampler kits for a year now and finally found time to work on this! HERE is the summer sampler I made last year. My downline, Gina Shappa, is the creative genius who came up with this project. She is amazing!!!!

…..and here is my MESSY TABLE assembling some extra kits! I LOVE MESSY TABLES! Shows creativity in action!

In addition to all of this, I chose THIS week to start working on my Cozy Craft Retreat projects (that explains why I’ve been up until 2am this week!!!) My adrenaline starts going when everyone is sound asleep around here. That’s when most of my creativity kicks in. I love the quiet stillness of the night.

So…… no more putting off the packing for our trip tomorrow! I stole this graphic from Susan Campfield…. this pretty much sums it up when you are packing for Alaska!

Be sure to check back, I will be posting even when I’m gone! Thank you, Stampin’ Up, for this amazing vacation!

Abstract Impressions Floral Card

I really like clean and simple cards, and that was the look I was going for with this card.

This was the 2nd card we made at Stamp Club this month. Remember, you can get in on these completed Stamp Club projects for FREE – all you have to do is place an online order of $35 or more and use the Hostess Code (on my right side bar). You can read details HERE!

In 2 more days we leave for the Stampin’ Up Incentive Trip, which is an Alaskan cruise! Thank you to my customers AND team – that’s how I earned the trip! You mean the world to me, and I am grateful to each and every one of you!

I’m an Arizonian – and am curious what the weather will be like! This trip has been so hard to pack for! Who knows what kind of weather we will have! But I’m originally from Minnesota, so if I bring everything except the kitchen sink, I should be good! LOL

Animal Outing Card – DSP SALE!

If you were in my VIRTUAL STAMP CLUB, this is one of the completed cards you would have received this month – plus the PDF on how to make it.

JOIN ME IN AUGUST! Or if you are local, you can come to class and actually make it!

In case you didn’t know, there are MANY Designer Series Papers on sale this month! Buy 3 get one FREE! One of the cutest in the bunch is the Animal Expedition one! It’s hard to see the all the adorable prints in the catalog.

This card has a window sheet to show the embossed background.

The leaf ribbon is to die for! It’s hard to see the 3-D look, but the ribbon is actually coming out of the giraffe’s mouth! I snipped a couple pieces off.

July All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop

Welcome to the July All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop! The designers who participated in the July All-Star Tutorial Bundle also offer a blog hop each month! We showcase different projects on the blog hop, but use the same products we used in the PDF that you can earn or purchase HERE. This month includes 13 designers and projects, and 65 pages of instructions and photos!

I’m a sucker for ombre, and it is so easy to create with the beautiful blues and greens in Stampin’ Up”s color palette! Each rectangle measures 4 1/4″ x 1 3/8″. They are all mounted on thick white cardstock, that is 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored in half.

In case you are wondering which snippet photo is mine from the bundle this month, it’s this one!

Be sure to check out the other designers on the blog hop!

Here’s the recipe for the card I used for the blog hop:

Here’s a really fast and easy card I CASED from Pinterest (made by Jessica Witty).

To create the banner I just stamped on So Saffron cardstock, then fussy cut. I hand cut 2 small pieces the same width with niches snipped out of each end for the banner look!

The number framelits are retired now 🙁 those are classic that I will hang on to forever!

Be sure to pop up the top layer to give it a 3-D look!

AniMaL oUtiNg CASE

Last night was my team meeting and we made this card for our make and take. It was a CASE from Cindy Brumbaugh and her awesome VIDEO tutorial can be found HERE.

I added a few more branches to my card, and just adhered the end of the branch, so I could bend the branches out a bit and make it 3-D.

Love What You Do CASE

This is a CASE of Mary Fish’s card (just changed it up a bit) – was fun to showcase all the new In Colors with this project!
Remember, if you want to be in my In Color Club, you can read more details HERE! Would love to have you join us!

Lemon Obsession

I am passionate about  lemons – eating them, decorating with them and STAMPING with them!

I am OBSESSED with Rae Dunn pottery and here’s a photo of my spring collection – just took it down to put up 4th of July but wanted to show you before I took it down.

I stamped a card that went with this decor – LOVE the Lemon Zest stamp set paired with the new stamp set  Dandelion Wishes (that has AWESOME SENTIMENTS). One of my favorite new dies in the new catalog is Stitched Labels Framelit Dies. This is a must have – the largest die will fit SO MANY stamp sets and gives them that extra pop!

Hope you enjoy!
