This ice skater card was another Cozy Craft Retreat project! He is from the Dear Santa stamp set, and he is on a wobble, which will make you smile! I love his expression!
I made the skate marks on the “ice” with Glimmer paper and the So Swirly Embossing Folder.
The “Little Bit Festive” paper pack is fun and easy to work with. This was one of the products that the Cozy Craft Retreaters received. The ornaments are punches from assorted Glimmer papers. I love the Dear Santa set! We used every stamp in that set at the retreat!!
This was a 3D project we made at Cozy Craft Retreat. I wanted to capture a “Classic” feel to this one. The attendees had a choice of classic pictures to put inside the TV. Which is your favorite classic movie?

This is a great way to use up DSP scraps! The Take a Bow DSP was my favorite Designer Series Paper this year. I love traditional colors and there is such a nice variety of designs in this pack.
This was one of 5 projects included in a Halloween break out class I did for Cozy Craft Retreat! It’s an easel Post it Note holder with a syringe pen filled with blood. LOL Happy Halloween!
Here’s a fun Halloween card that featured in my Halloween breakout classes for Cozy Craft Retreat! Be sure to mark your calendars for next year’s retreat – Sept. 26th and 27th, 2025!
Gotta love the peppermint possibilities with the More than Autumn bundle! And those little embellishments! Ohhh how I love all the elements to this card. This came together pretty easily – I am a peppermint mocha kind of coffee gal!
If you have some oldie products in your stash (spiderweb embossing folder, a heart punch and number dies) then you’re in luck! You, too, can make this card!
This card has a Blueberry Bushel card base. Ink up one side of the embossing folder with black ink. Run the red cardstock through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine, and it will emboss the black spider web print onto the paper! Punch a white heart out, and snip it in half. Adhere it to black paper and fussy cut a small border. Adhere to red cardstock, using Dimensionals.
Stamp your sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink and fussy cut. I didn’t have a sentiment like this, so I made my own on my computer, and printed it onto white cardstock. Die-cut the desired number with Blueberry Bushel and white cardstock. Offset them a bit and adhere together. Adhere all these to card front, using Dimensionals.
Our first grandchild (Stella) turned 10 this week! We adore her – she is such a little lady and entering the “TWEENage” years!
I had to show her “tent” birthday party, because it has many crafty things in it!
Stella had a vision in her head on these tent beds that the girls would sleep under. She called “Bapa” (Dan) and devised a plan! She had her clipboard, and post it notes with measurements, and how she wanted it to look. Bapa took her to Home Depot, and together, they purchased all the supplies to make her dream come true. Dan took her to his office, where they constructed the wood part of the tents. She measured, sawed, and screwed in the different things. I LOVE that he had her literally help him make it!
Once that was done, Brittany (her mama, my daughter) magically transformed the tents into a work of art! She is so creative and could have a business doing parties! Name a theme and she executes! For example: she lets her kids choose their birthday theme. She REALLY had to get creative the year one daughter chose Barbies and Legos, and another year she combined giraffes and unicorns! LOL
Brittany sewed the fabric for the tent. She (on purpose) made the tents neutral colors, so she could do many themes with these over the years for the 4 kiddos! The beds are blow up mattresses. The lanterns gave it a nice cozy feel at night when all the lights were turned down. Brittany made her own cactus banner with the help of her Silhouette cutting machine!
Stella wanted a cactus and flower themed birthday, so PINK and GREEN it was! All the girls got a goodie bag, filled with “tweenage” treats…. including all the fixings for a spa treatment, as well! Eye covers, robes, slippers, etc. The girls got to get their fingernails and toes painted that night!
The girls also got a move night, with popcorn from AMC, and a treat area, as you can see in the photo.
You can see there was an area where the girls could write sweet notes to Stella of what they loved about her. She will cherish those notes FOREVER!
They had games and prizes galore! Whoever won the different games they played, they got to punch from the punch board to earn their prizes.
The party was held over Stella’sfall break.
The SWEETEST PART of the whole evening was this……. Some of the girls weren’t able to sleep over because it was a school night where they lived. Once one of the walked in the house and saw the set up for the party, she BEGGED her mom to let her PLEASE stay overnight. The mom gave in and let her stay, and skip school the next day. Since they were only planning 5 sleeping over, they only created 5 tents. That night, as bedtime neared, Stella gave up her tent for her friend who could stay the night, and Stella slept on the couch. I LOVE Stella’s big heart and how she willingly gave up her tent bed so her friend could enjoy it. That is the memory of this whole scenerio that will stick with us forever! God bless you, sweet Stella!
I am excited to share the projects from the Halloween Break-out Class at the 2024 Cozy Craft Retreat! This was a decor item we made. My hubby was sweet to help out and drilled holes in the back of all the wooden hexagons so we could add the bright green fairy lights!
I made my own hexagon and banner pattern pieces.
The hexagon wood piece was found at Michael’s. The bat stamp is retired but a KEEPER in my stash!
