Here are the projects we did for my August classes.
I saw this baby gift bag done at Convention this year! Linda Hansen demonstrated how to make this. It is SIMPLE to make! Just pull the sides of the bag out and measure down from the top about 3″. Cut from the fold into the bag, as pictured. Then scallop the edges of the “sleeve” with our awesome scallop edge punch!
Stamp Sets: Big Deal Alphabet
Paper: Barely Banana, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Ink: Pink Pirouette, Barely Banana, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue
Accessories: Pink Gingham Ribbon, Non SU Plastic Safety Pin, Star Punch, Scallop Edge Punch
This is another card I saw at Convention. I’m so sorry I don’t even know who made it, but I took a picture of it and LOVED the cone idea! It’s hard to see in this picture, but I made the “cone” by taking the cuttlebug folder that has lines in it and running it through twice. Once in one direction and the 2nd time in the other direction to get the “waffle cone” look.

This is a GREAT stamp set that we got at Convention. I was inspired by Brenda, whose blog can be found HERE. I distressed the edges with the tool from the Cutter Kit.

Another set from Convention was “Flight of the Butterly”. I CASED a card from a swap I got at convention. I changed it a little bit, but the idea came from Julie Case. I couldn’t find any blog or SCS gallery link to her name.
