Our 1st grade son, Brady, wanted “cool” valentine’s to give to his friends this year. This is what I came up with. I hope they are COOL enough, they sure were easy to make! Recipe:Stamp Set: I (Heart) Hearts, Everyday Flexible Phrases (retired), Extreme SkateboardPaper: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper WhiteInk: Real Red, Basic BlackAssessories: Fun Dip Candy, Baker’s Twine, Staple, Sponge, Curly Label PunchInstructions: The matchbook is cut at 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, and scored at the 1/2″ and 4 1/2″ mark. The white cardstock is cut at 2″ x 3″, and the black is just about 3/16″ larger than the white piece.The rest is pretty self explanatory. The actual matchbook bows out a bit, because of the candy inside. I had to hot glue the skater to the front because of the bend in the paper. It looks like he is skating on a curved edge because of the bow in the paper! Also, I BLOOPED and smudged underneath the skateboarder, do you see that? I decided to try to recreate this BLOOP because it looks like the shadow of him! LOL Sometimes mistakes are GREAT! LOL
