Hi Stamping Friends!
Thanks for not giving up on me!! It’s been a crazy busy 1 1/2 weeks as we helped move our son and his family to Atlanta, GA. I’m so excited for them and their adventure ahead, but this Grammy’s heart is aching…. I’m going to miss these little punkins so much! I got to spend a lot of time with them while Brook and Shannon packed up. Aren’t they adorable??
Here Shannon and I are with our CARRY ON things! LOL Can you believe this? Wish you could have seen the stares we got! We were traveling standby, so we couldn’t check all of our things in case we got bumped. Welcome to the world of stand by, Shannon! LOL We made it on the flight and it went well!
I stayed the rest of the week and helped with the kids so Brook and Shannon could get unpacked.
After helping in Atlanta, I made my way to Oklahoma City to visit these little cuties, Michelle Zindorf and Sherri Peters! Sherri invited us to come and visit while she was hosting a fund raiser. We had such a fun weekend, and Sherri is the hostest with the MOSTEST!!!
Michelle and I got to stamp on Friday night (WHAT A TREAT!) and then we helped a little with the event on Saturday. Sherri has an amazing gift and heart for FUND RAISING for charities! It was fun to see her and her team in action. I learned so much from them!
Sherri has to split her fund raising events into 2 days because the church only holds 150 people! Here’s a photo from one of the days. I am in awe of what Sherri does for other people!
To cap the day off, the one and only MICHELLE ZINDORF gave us a little class on how she works her brayering magic! THANKS MICHELLE!
Here is the card I made with the help of Michelle. You can visit Michelle’s blog HERE. You will be amazed at her creations!
Hi Lorri, Love your babies!! I’m trying to CASE your VW card for Shawna’s birthday Friday. I have the stamp set but don’t know how to make the background. I think with a brayer?? What colors did you use? and how do you make the waves?? Thanks Cheryl
Great post! Yes, good bye’s are difficult, but just think you can come an visit our beautiful city of Atlanta…so much to see and do in the area.
P.S. Your grandchildren are just precious and beautiful, indeed! 🙂
Oh my goodness!!! You shared so well, I don’t even know what to say! God bless your family’s move, and how fabulous you could also spend stamping time and share a weekend with friends, too! I wish you the best re: your family and grandchildren’s move!! Hugs, Donna
