Cozy Craft Retreat Photos!

Where do I even begin to recap this past weekend at the 4th Annual Cozy Craft Retreat that took place in Phoenix, AZ! We had a little over 60 attendees – and that is the MAX this place can hold! The event sold out in 2 days! Thank you, ladies, for attending this event! For those of you who ordered kits (which are also sold out), I will have them in the mail to you this week!

I will be sharing photos this week of the projects we created, and next week I will have the PDF available for purchase for those of you who weren’t able to attend or purchase a kit. That way you can recreate the projects if you’d like. The PDF will have many photos and all the dimensions for all 12 of the projects we made. Watch for the PDF that goes on sale next week!

With any event, there’s no way it can get pulled off without HELP! My partner in crime was Susanna Cunningham. This gal has put in countless hours to help me – we have been working on this for months, and I am so thankful that she is always so willing to help me! Especially at crunch time! She lives in IL and was willing to come in early to help me during CRUNCH TIME!

There were MANY worker-bees I am so thankful for! THANK YOU, also, to: Amy Stevens, Becky Costello, Chris Brouwer, Corinne Bethel, Denise Schulte, Janice Clegg, Jeanne Moss, Jennie Portonova, Kim Sinclair, Pat Brannin, Patti Galegher, Sue Parker, and Sue Rehm!!! #couldn’tdoitwithoutyou

Here is the room set up

Each gal got a swag bag, filled with new products. I found the gray swag bags HERE.

Everyone also got a “Totally Tiffany” tote bag (to the left of the gray bag in the photo above). The gals could organize their projects and put them in the tote organizer when they were finished. I personalized the top of them them with glossy black vinyl, cut with my silhouette machine. The Tiffany bags can be found HERE (they are the “Denise” styled tote).

Inside the swag bag, they received full packages of the following products from the NEW holiday catalog, along with 12 make and takes. I will continue sharing the projects on my blog this week!

The name tag on the swag bag was made from a wood piece, with their name on it. After the retreat, they can hang this on their Christmas tree as an ornament!

Here are some more photos behind the scenes:

I also couldn’t do this retreat without the support of my amazing hubby. He is always so willing to help and his creative mind usually can find a faster easier way for me to do things!

Here he is drilling holes in the wood slices (I now know you can purchase these with holes in them already! Shhhhh!!! Don’t tell him! LOL)

Come back and visit for more photos and projects!

Gift For Donna

When Donna Griffith fliew in for our team meeting, it was only fitting that I create a gift from AZ! It was so fun to put this together! This AZ sure is missing the retired stamp set “Flowering Desert”. That is a must have in my stash! Some stamp sets are just too hard to part with!

This card was CASED from Tami Hewlett, just added a little “welcome” sentiment from the Well Written dies (which are current!)

I sure love this gal! She was so fun to have at our team meeting!

OnStage Gift – Paired With Flowering Desert (retiring!) Stamp Set

While attending OnStage this month, one of our weSTAMPERS, sweet Jennie Portonova, gave me this ADORABLE gift! The cactus earrings are soooo cute – such a fun gift for an Arizonian! And pair that with her darling packaging, using “Flowering Desert” stamp set! This set is RETIRING and will be GONE after this catalog!

Thank you Jennie for the heart-felt themed gift!

Easter Bunny Treats

I made lots of Easter bunny treats – Itty Bitty Greetings is a must have stamp set!  I punched half of a 3/4″ circle on the cardstock so they pom pom bunny tail fit in it.

Get the 3/4″ Circle Punch because it’s retiring!!!

Bunny Framed Gifts

These fun little Easter frames were my OnStage gifts to my team. I was inspired by my downline, Becca Matlock! She’s UBER creative!
Don’t delay on the LARGE LETTER ALPHABET DIES, which are soon to be retired! These are while supplies last!

There isn’t another alphabet stamp set that is like this in the new catalog! (There is more of a brushstsroke alphabet die coming, but it looks quite a bit smaller!!!!) This is a CLASSIC that I will hang on to forever!

Typewriter Gift Ensemble with PS You’re the Best Stamp Set

I found these old typewriters around Halloween time at Joann’s Craft Store and decided they didn’t just need to be Halloween! I’ve been having fun with them, making themed gifts. I just love office-type things!

I made holiday themed paper to be set on the typewriter. Then you can change the typewriter paper with the seasons. It’s fun to add coordinating props to go with the theme.

The stamp set PS. You’re the Best goes well with these gifts!

To make the bag look like notebook paper, I just took a plain white bag and drew stripes on it with our Stampin’ Blends.

Valentine’s Day Goodies!

Valentiene’s Day is in the air around our home! Today’s post is YUMMY!

My favorite piece of furniture in my home is my coffee niche! I visit this area quite often during the day! LOL

This area is where I put my seasonal items – alongside my favorite things….coffee…..Rae Dunn…..gnomes…..fun holiday decor…..

Look at the beautiful projects made with the Meant to Be bundle! Did you realize you get 16 framelits in this bundle? WOW that is a great deal! These framelits can be used YEAR ROUND (think wedding, anniversaries, baby, birthday, or thinking of you!)

You can find the link to these products below. You can bundle the stamp set and framelits together and save 10%, or purchase them separately.

I love baking, so here’s a treat I had at my last Stamp Club. It’s probably the recipe I have made most out of all the recipes I have.

The gnome beside the brownies was actually one of my Christmas gnomes! Slap a heart on him and he turns into a Valentine’s Day gnome!

Caramel Brownies

1 bag of caramels
2/3 C. evaporated milk
1 German Chocolate Cake mix
½ C. melted butter
12 oz. chocolate chips

Melt caramels over low heat with just 1/3 C. of the evaporated milk.
Grease 9×13 pan.
Combine boxed dry cake mix, butter, and the other 1/3 C. of the evaporated milk. Stir. Press ½ of this dough mixture into the bottom of the pan. Bake 350 degrees 10 mn.
Sprinkle ½ of chips on bottom layer
Spread caramel over chips
Crumble rest of dough (or just pull apart chunks of dough) and place these randomly over the top of the caramel.
Sprinkle rest of chips on top.
Bake 15-18 mn.
Cool and refrigerate at least 30 mn. (This will make the chips get firm.) After that they don’t have to be refrigerated.

ENJOY!

weSTAMP Regionals! Monthly Framed HOME Project

This frame holds a 6×4 photo

Here are all the interchangeable monthly pieces to place in the “O” postition

This little tote holds all the monthly pieces we made. It is made from 1/2 an acetate box and  is open at the top!

I host events exclusively for my team from time to time, and this past weekend we had one of these events! I love doing these events. There’s just something about gathering together like-minded people who love to paper craft! This warms my heart!

I think everyone’s favorite project we made was the HOME project! There are a lot of these ideas on Pinterest! It was new to me though, so I had fun coming up with the interchangeable “O” pieces. Each monthly piece has a Velcro dot, and then the opposite Velcro dot is placed in the framed piece, the between the H and the M.

I found my frame at Hobby Lobby. The inside dimension is 4″ x 6″.

I also made a little tote that will hold all the monthly pieces. I found a video tutorial on how to make this on the uber creative Kelley Acheson’s blog HERE. It is made from half of an acetate box that Stampin’ Up sells. You can purchase these items on my Stampin’ Up website HERE. Don’t forget, if you spend $50, you can choose a FREE SALE A BRATION ITEM!

I won’t list all the items I used, I used almost everything in my craft room! LOL It was fun and simple, just took some time to cut and punch for everyone.

Here are some photos of our event! We had demonstrations, make and takes, prize patrol, catered lunch, swaps, and fun fun fun!

You should consider joining my team so you can get in on all the perks! Team members could attend in person, or get it in kit form to be mailed out! Don’t forget, you can choose $175 worth of products for only $99 during Sale a Bration! Click HERE to sign up to be on my team!

Christmas Gift Card Holder

If you’re like me, and hoard Designer Series Paper, Christmas is the time to use some of that up by making your own envelopes! We made these at Stamp Club this month! This is a pocket card that holds a gift card. You can see Santa peeking behind the cup!

The gift card is 4″ x 3″, so that’s the size you want to make when creating your envelope. You can see the chart on the envelope maker on where to make your first score and punch.

The card stock to used to create the gift card holder is 6 3/4″ x 3″, and scored at 3″ on long side. I didn’t adhere sides together, it is held together with ribbon tied around the whole card.
