Did I catch your attention with this adorable baby? He is SO PRECIOUS and really stole the show at our weSTAMP meeting this month! Remember the baby shower we threw for Pam? (See this post HERE.) INTRODUCING…….KYLE, who came 6 weeks early! What a BEAUTIFUL BABY!
Linda R provided our cute little Santa treat hat Make ‘n Take. Isn’t this cute? It was a lot easier than I thought it would be! The cardstock is embossed using the Petals a Plenty embossing folder. The pattern was found on Kimberly Van Diepen’s blog, which can be found HERE.
The swap theme this month was to make a Christmas/Holiday/Winter card or 3-D item. I tell you when we swap, it is like Christmas every month! Here they are!

Terri GRACIOUSLY provided the “recipe” for the Santa. Terri has an “EYE” for punch art, wouldn’t you agree?

Not only is Terri a great paper crafter, she is also a CREATIVE BAKER! Look at these cupcakes she made for our meeting!

New mommy Pam trying them out, too.
How would you like to join my team, and also become a weSTAMPER? Contact me and find out how you can be a part of the FUN!
This is the first Christmas stamp I bought from Stampin’ Up this year! I love the Christmas Collage background stamp. It speaks for itself!
Here is a card we made at Stamp Club this month. The bottom one shows how you can substitute a sepia photo to get the Shabby Chic effect. (Photo is of our son and his wife.)
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Christmas Collage, Welcome Christmas
Paper: Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake
Ink: Early Espresso
Accessories: Always Artichoke 1/2″ Seam Binding, Antique Brads, Cutter Kit (distressed edges), 1 3/4″ Circle Punch
This was our Christmas card for 2009. I knew I wanted to use this fold for our Christmas card when I first saw it…..just wasn’t sure how to put it all together. Lo and behhold, Becky Roberts (aka: Inking Idaho) came up with a great card using that fold with a picture, so I totally CASED her layout! Thanks Becky! You make life so much easier with your incredible creative mind!
Here are the two versions. My family preferred the red/green one so that is the one we went with.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas weekend celebrating the Savior’s birth!
I wanted to share with you what my upline, Barbara Welch, dropped off at my house the other night. (Her blog can be found HERE.) Isn’t this adorable? It is a basket filled with holiday goodies! I love the reindeer theme of this gift. (Reindeers really are the rage this year, aren’t they?) Inside the beautiful basket, you will find: dish for dip with a cute reindeer knife, a couple of packets dry dip mix, frame, York Peppermint Patties in a cute cello bag, guest hand towels, kitchen towel, and a beautiful Christmas card! THANKS Barbara!
Have you seen these mugs at Starbucks this year? The image on the mug is an embossed reindeer who looks EXACTLY like Stampin’ Up’s Dasher stamp! As soon as I saw this mug, I KNEW some gifts would be in the making! Of course, there is a Starbucks gift card inside. I made some of these for some of my friends for Christmas.
I forgot to post this from about a month ago! These are little sweet treats with home-made caramels inside. They don’t stick to your teeth, so they won’t pull your cavities out! LOL)
Here is the recipe for the caramels.
Caramels
2 C. sugar
2 C. heavy whipping cream
1 C. Karo syrup
1 C. butter
1 t. vanilla
Combine sugar, syrup and JUST 1 C. of the cream (for now). Bring to a full boil, then add the other cup of cream. Boil until it reaches the hard ball stage, stirring constantly. This part takes about 30 mn.
Remove from heat, add butter.
Stir until it’s all blended. (It will separate at first, but the more you stir it and it cools, the more it will blend together).
Add vanilla.
Pour in buttered 8×8 pan.
Cool and cut into pieces.
I found these glass containers at IKEA.

We had our annual “weSTAMP” Christmas party this week!! What a fun evening, and great attendance! We started out the evening with some YUMMY snacks, then moved onto our “Shoebox Swaps”. Here are the projects we made, and the gals who provided the projects.

We also had a voluntary gift exchange. The only rules were that it had to be hand-made. Two gals can’t post yet because they are making more and giving them as gifts, and don’t want the recipients to see them here. Here are the projects, and the gals who created them:Melissa:

Here are some of the projects we did at the November Girl’s Day/Night Out class.
The first one was from a sketch found at Diva Coffee Break Designs, which can be found HERE. They have some fun sketches going on there! I just discovered that blog. This is a picture of the sketch:

Here are the cards that were made during my “Stamp A Stack” class this week. We made 12 cards total, 4 cards each of the 3 designs.
The first card I couldn’t decide which one I liked better, so the gals could make either one. The first one has BLING on it. On the 2nd, the ornament is 3-D. You get the 3-D look by punching 3 ornaments, folding them in half, and taping them altogether.
