One of the events I LOVE hosting is my team and demonstrator event called weSTAGE! We had so much fun at this all-day event! There were demonstrations, LOTS of make and takes, treats, catered lunch (by one of my downline, Donna Gagnon!) prizes, swaps, display boards, and lots of laughs as well!
One of my downline and friend, Kim Sinclair, flew in for this event (PLUS she has family and friends here as well). She did an amazing demonstration using the new Country Club Suite that can be found in the Spring Catalog. This presentation for this suite had PERFECT timing because the Phoenix Open was going on this week here, as well! What a great suite Stampin’ Up came out with, designed for us Arizonians!!! LOL
Kim’s FB page with over the top stamping projects can be found HERE.
These projects were SO MUCH FUN and even the non-golfers enjoyed them because they will be fun to make for the golfers in their life! We were blessed to see all these amazing projects designed by Kim! THANK YOU SO MUCH KIM!
Here is some behind the scenes with the assembly going on!
We love to swap at these events – what a cute display board Becca Matlock made for this event!
The winning swap card was made by Laurie Rigo, isn’t it beautiful! There is a surprise inside with a cute accordian fold out. Over the top! Way to go Laurie!
We had our team party this week – this is always a highlight for me each year!
We had a shoebox swap, and then a “my favorite things” gift exchange. We all brought a gift that was something that was our “favorite”, and wrap it creatively. Here is my gift, and if you know me, you know I like to decorate each season with legs sticking out of things. LOL
Here is the team photo of those who were able to attend, I LOVE these gals so much!
Rose Hanford won the swap, look at her cute Valentine’s Day card. There is a real feather in the lure.
Lots of STEALING of gifts happened this evening!
Gina Shappa made this adorable red pick up truck out of card stock, and the box in the back had a Starbucks gift card! SO FUN!!!!!
I love our team get togethers, because we make fun projects like this! Last month we made Christmas tags at our get together. Even those who can’t attend in person can get a kit of the projects we make!
The last photo is a plastic stamp case that we decorated to put all our tags in.
Do you want to join us? You can become a member of my team and make fun things like this, too! If you would like to be a discount shopper and get all of your Stampin’ Up products at a discount, PLUS join us (in person or online via Facebook Live) be sure and sign up! You can join by clicking HERE.
Here’s another project from my weSTAMP Regional event last month. I love this suite, the colors are so bright and cheery! Look at all the dies that are included with this bundle, 14 of them! There are so many candy pieces, it only takes one crank of the Big Shot to get many pieces!
I used a Versa Mark pad and Black Embossing Powder on the Silver Foil Cardstock. It shows up much better using that ink and powder.
I love hosting team events! Can’t wait for this to happen! Here are some photos of last years event!
My team gets together monthly – but if you don’t live in AZ, no worries! We do a FaceTime Live each month, so you can get in on all the fun and happenings!

When I do overnight retreats, you can bank on receiving earplugs on the first night as your pillow gift….. JUST IN CASE! LOL Here is a SNORE-kel themed gift to go along with our “Summer Fun” theme for the weekend.
We also gave some chocolate for those late night projects!
So this happened this past weekend! I LOVE spending time with my team!
I hosted a weRETREAT in Flagstaff with these beautiful ladies! The theme of the retreat was SUMMER FUN!
Here are some photos from our beach party on Saturday night!
The pillow gift went along with our beach party theme. These little beach bags are only 2″ tall! I found the beach bag idea from Sandi MacIver and you can view her easy to follow video HERE. However, my card stock was 3″ x 5 1/2″ and I didn’t fold the top edge over like she did in the video.
I hand drew the sunglasses and flip flops, and used my Silhouette machine to cut them out. The towel is a small piece of terry cloth. The “Occasions” catalog is wrapped around a Ghirardelli chocolate candy.
Here’s a photo of my roommates and I with the infamous face coasters and glasses. I found the face coasters HERE and the glasses HERE (on Amazon). These props can really add some fun to your party!
I have a rustic wood planter box that I purchased on Etsy. I like to decorate this with holiday things each season. I knew this little gem would be perfect for our Sundae Bar! We had plenty of fixings for a yummy beach party desert!
I am trying to learn the art of cookie decorating – decorating cookies is harder than it looks!!!! Here’s my feeble attempt at ice cream cone cookies.More photos coming soon!

I will give you a sneak preview of one of my make and takes for the weekend! Hopefully my team won’t see this! SUPER SIMPLE card using one of my favorite suites in the spring catalog – COOL TREATS SUITE! The banner is made with Washi Tape!
Hope you come back and visit, and see all the fun things we are creativng and doing this weekend!

Sweet Becky Roberts made this Grinch themed gift for me, isn’t it adorable! Look at that packaging!!! I LOVE the towels, I will always remember our event when I use these!!! THANKS BECKY!!!! She also gave me the CUTEST little Grinch nugget holder, it’s so tiny! I love mini anything! LOL
This was our make and take for our event. Becky designed it – the unique thing about this card is you can pop the Grinch out and he can stand alone!
The next presenter was the super talented Jeanette Weeks! Jeanette chose “A Nice Cuppa” to center her projects around. I love her lattic back drop, as well! It’s so nice and springy looking and it displays her projects beautifully! Many of her cards are interactive! THANKS JEANETTE for all the time you put into these projects!
Here is one of the projects we made – it’s a gift box filled with Tea K-Cups! I just love that stamp set and framelits! The Designer Series Paper goes so well with this set, and the colors are some of my favorites!
Last night was my team meeting – oh my goodness we have SO MUCH FUN!
To give you some background, I have to tell you some “behind the scenes” information. I have been a demonstrator for 9 years! We have swaps each month and then vote on our FAVORITE swap. I have NEVER WON in 9 years! Well last night was the BEST.DAY.EVER. !!! I FINALLY WON!!!!! Here is the swap card I made, using the popular Bokeh Technique. I CASED a card on Splitcoast Stampers by Arlene Mantle.
To use the Bokeh technique, cut a full sponge into 1/8 pie pieces. I used Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive ink on Whisper White card stock.
Then punch some different sized circles on a scrap piece of card stock (I used 1 1/4″, 1″ and 3/4″ circles). Set this template ontop of your white card stock and sponge in circles randomly using White Craft Ink and a sponge dauber.
To make the butterfly, I first cut one out of Basic Black card stock, using the Butterfly thinlit. Then I sponged Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive ink onto the vellum. Glue the black butterfly onto the vellum using Tombo glue, then fussy cut the vellum out. Glue just the body of the butterfly onto the card front so the wings can lift away from the card for a 3-D look!
Each month, we celebrate BIG by crowning the weSTAMPER who wins the swap contest. She gets to wear a crown sash that says “Best weSTAMP Swap”. I really played it up because I have never won!! LOL (I said I didn’t want to take the crown and sash off that whole night!) Sue Parker had some fun with the photo she took and did some of her Photo Shop magic, then posted these photos on our team FB page. She is so clever! What a fun night!!
