Here’s an early Easter card we did at my Girl’s Day/Night Out class this month. I saw Laura’s card HERE and knew I wanted to CASE parts of it! That is how this card evolved. I added an actual punched hole (1 3/4″ circle punch) to the card front, and then added the bunny face on the INSIDE of the card!
Accessories: Punches: Small and Medium Oval (feet and ears), 1 3/4″ Circle (hole and bunny body), Bo-Ho Blossom (bunny tail), Cupcake (small circles for bunny eyes), 3/4″ Circle (cheeks and small part of circle for bunny nose), Ornament (face), Dimensionals (happy easter sign), linen thread
Notes: Use sponge daubers to ink around all punched edges. Fold edges of tail forward to give it a 3-D look. Draw small ovals with Blushing Bride marker on bunny paws.
Here are some photos of egg decorating this year! We decided to have an egg decorating contest in our family this year. Here are some of the creations we came up with!
I had to hurry and post this CASE before Easter is here! There’s a lot of these little bunny/carrot treats all over blogs. The first one I saw was found HERE. Theresa Vargas is the creator, but I couldn’t find a personal blog for her.
I also made a “cheat sheet” to help with the punches that were used to create this bunny treat.
LOVED Brenda Keenan’s card HERE, so this I CASED it! I used the brayering technique for the sky and sponged the grass at the very bottom. Recipe:
Stamp Set: Inspired by Nature, Easter Blossoms
Paper: So Saffron, Whisper White
Ink: So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Decorative Label Punch, Bakers Twine, Brayer
Our weSTAMP group met this month, and what a great time we had! Look at the treats Terri brought! Not only is she an awesome creative papercrafter, you can see she has the gift of BAKING as well!!! These are Lemon Coconut Peeper Cookies! I love how she presented the cookies in the Easter basket (with SU ribbon at the top, of course!) I have added Terri’s recipes (after receiving many emails requesting it!) Here it is! 1 box of Lemon Cake Mix (any brand) 1/3 cup oil 2 eggs 1 cup unsweetened flake coconut 24 butterscotch chips 48 miniature semisweet chocolate chips Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine cake mix, oil and eggs; beat until well mixed. Place coconut in shallow bowl. For each cookie, shape dough into one 1-1/2 inch ball and one 1/2 inch ball. Roll each ball in coconut; place on ungreased cookie sheet with smaller ball touching larger ball. Place cookies 1-1/2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes or until coconut just begins to brown. Immediately press 1 butterscotch chip for beak and 2 mini chocolate chips for eyes into smaller ball of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheet. Makes 24 cookies. To go along with the Coconut theme, she made a YUMMY Coconut cake!!! Isn’t that a cute little sign to let us know what kind of cake it was?
We start the evening off with a make and take. Peggy was our volunteer for this. This is a beautiful 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ card using the set Easter Blossoms. Peggy also did our 3 mn. demo for the evening. She showed us how to make a coordinating envelope to fit our 4 1/4″ card.
To make this envelope, first seal it shut. Then you cut off about 1″ of one side of the envelope. That will become the top of the envelope. Then cut a piece of DP the same width of your envelope by 2″. Score this piece at 1 1/4″ (on the long side). Tape the shorter side of the DP to the FRONT side of the envelope as shown below. Here is a photo of the backside of the envelope. Round the corners of the 2″ piece. This is the backside of the envelope with the flap up.
This is the backside of the envelope with the flap down.
THANKS Peggy! We all LOVED your project!

Sorry not many posts lately…just got home from an AMAZING DISNEY CRUISE over spring break. Wow I think this was one of our BEST vacations ever! We had so much fun!
We got home Saturday and Monday I had one of my Girl’s Night Out classes. Here are our projects! (Lots of CASING going on this month, due to being GONE for so many days!)
You have seen this project before. I made this for our weSTAMP swap last month. You can find details on this project on THIS post.
This is a total CASE of Chat’s card, which can be found HERE. Chat is an incredible stamper! Check out her blog, and you will be SO INSPIRED!

Stamp Set: On Your Birthday
Paper: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa
I was inspired by one of our weSTAMPERS for this fancy fold card. Peggy Powers made a card using this paper and fold at our last weSTAMP meeting. Her card can be found HERE.
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Eggcoutrements
Paper: Whisper White, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Retired SU DSP
Ink: Certainly Celery
Accessories: Daisy Die Cut, 1″/1 1/4″ Circle Punches, Dimensionals, Polka Dot Embossing Folder
Beate didi a tutorial for this frame, which can be found HERE. However, I did mine in an easier way. I just put a dot in the middle of the paper and folded all corners up to the middle. Then I just eyeballed the second fold back about 3/8″. Also, my square cut out of DP was 4″ so it would fit in an envelope.
This last card was a CASE of Jennifer Timko’s card, which can be found HERE. I like how the “In Colors” POP against the black cardstick. The layout of this card can be used with many different stamp sets and colors.
Recipe: Stamp Set: Happy Moments Paper: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Whisper White Ink: Stazon Black, Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry Accessories: Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Glue Pen, Dimensionals

I forgot to post this card that I made over a month ago! Once again, it uses the infamous Chocolate Bunny stamp. LOVE THAT STAMP!
I made the basket by weaving strips of paper before putting it through the Big Shot Top Note die.

Here are my swaps for the weSTAMP meeting we have tonight. The theme was “spring or Easter” card or 3-D item. I did a chocolate egg box, featuring the chocolate bunny stamp you have seen me using quite a bit. More photos will follow after our SWEET SCOOPS PARTY!!
Recipe: Stamp Set: Chocolate Bunny Paper: Chocolate Chip, Sweet Pea DP, So Saffron Ink: Craft Chocolate Chip Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Pretty in Pink and Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon, Dimensionals, Scallop Trim Border/Scallop Edge Border/Flower Trio Punches, Brad, Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Easter Grass, Chocolate Bunny Treat
To make the “rope-like” handle, I just punched a 1″ x 8″ piece of cardstock. Make sure your scallops are opposites on each side. Then I took a marker (creamy caramel) and made a line connecting each side to make it look like a rope.
I also included the pattern below. If you would like it true to size, please email me and I can send you the free pdf so you can just print it. My downline (Melissa Sunde) just made life easier for me!! She told me how to save the pattern on the internet so you can find it here. If you have have a google account and are signed in, just click HERE and you can print the pattern. THANK YOU MELISSA!! (Melissa’s blog can be found HERE.) I think this link only works if you have a Google account. If you are having trouble, just email me and I will get the pattern to you.
Please let me know if I can help you with any of your stamping needs, or if you would like to order any products. You can find my Stampin’ Up! website HERE, or email me. I would love to help you out!
