Last night was my team meeting – oh my goodness we have SO MUCH FUN!
To give you some background, I have to tell you some “behind the scenes” information. I have been a demonstrator for 9 years! We have swaps each month and then vote on our FAVORITE swap. I have NEVER WON in 9 years! Well last night was the BEST.DAY.EVER. !!! I FINALLY WON!!!!! Here is the swap card I made, using the popular Bokeh Technique. I CASED a card on Splitcoast Stampers by Arlene Mantle.
To use the Bokeh technique, cut a full sponge into 1/8 pie pieces. I used Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive ink on Whisper White card stock.
Then punch some different sized circles on a scrap piece of card stock (I used 1 1/4″, 1″ and 3/4″ circles). Set this template ontop of your white card stock and sponge in circles randomly using White Craft Ink and a sponge dauber.
To make the butterfly, I first cut one out of Basic Black card stock, using the Butterfly thinlit. Then I sponged Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive ink onto the vellum. Glue the black butterfly onto the vellum using Tombo glue, then fussy cut the vellum out. Glue just the body of the butterfly onto the card front so the wings can lift away from the card for a 3-D look!
Each month, we celebrate BIG by crowning the weSTAMPER who wins the swap contest. She gets to wear a crown sash that says “Best weSTAMP Swap”. I really played it up because I have never won!! LOL (I said I didn’t want to take the crown and sash off that whole night!) Sue Parker had some fun with the photo she took and did some of her Photo Shop magic, then posted these photos on our team FB page. She is so clever! What a fun night!!
Here are some photos from our weSTAMP Regional event last month!
Sue Parker is our MDS Queen and came up with these adorable bag tags in MDS. YOU ROCK!
Lucinda and Stefanie gave amazing demonstrations! Lucinda talked about using DSP in your projects, and emphasized the Painted Petals suite.
Stefanie showed us a variety of techniques! We learned how to etch glass using Stampin’ Up images!
You can join the fun and be included in our quarterly weSTAMP Regionals! Join my team and ENJOY THE RIDE! Even if you are an out of towner you can be included in the fun! Contact me for details, or sign up on my website HERE. There’s PERKS if you join during Sale a Bration, which ends March 31st. Contact me for more information!
Guess what? I got to see the NEW SPRING CATALOG AND THE SALE A BRATION catalogs last night at the catalog premiere!!!! You are in for a TREAT with these catalogs, I PROMISE!
Here is the treat I made for my team members. The sentiment says: We “tissue” a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!” Inside is package of tissues. For this project, it doesn’t pay to give dimensions because there are so many different sizes of tissues, you just have to kind of measure the ones you have and make it fit. It’s super easy to make!
There were many of us who met for a quick bite to eat before it started. What a fun bonding time with my team! You could FEEL the excitement in the air! Then we met up with the others at the movie theater and enjoyed our time together at the event. MANY of my team won PRIZE PATROL and got new stamp sets from the new catalogs!
Today is the LAST DAY of the Holiday Extravaganza Sale! Order online HERE or email me if you would like me to order for you! Don’t miss out!
I think the biggest reason I LOVE Stampin’ Up so much is the friends I have met over the years. Last night was our team Christmas party! We did something totally different this year and played BUNCO for PRIZES! There were lots of laughs, fun, friends and BONDING moments, not to mention YUMMY FOOD and BEAUTIFUL PROJECTS during our gift exchange!
Here are some photos from our evening!

Here is FESTIVE Stefanie McKenitt and Sue Parker (my AWESOME WEB GAL!) posing for the camera.
One of our make and takes. Bells were made with the help of my Silhouette machine.
Artisan achiever Connie Collins came up with the candy cane idea, LOVE her ideas! I switched out the tag and used the current Ornamental Pines stamp set.
For the gift exchange I got little more help from my Silhouette machine and cut out images from White Christmas. You can see the bag in this photo.
Here’s a tag I made – I CASED Ilina Crouse. I found the ornaments at Hobby Lobby.
Here’s a little treat for those who attended our event!

I LOVE my TEAM! In fact, I love them so much that I truly enjoy hosting “weSTAMP Regionals” just for them! It’s a full day spent making projects, training, demonstrations, PRIZE PATROL, games, and enjoying a lot of displays! I host these about every quarter and they are for everyone who is on my team. Even the out of towners can participate, and receive the GOODIE BAG containing products and projects to be completed that day. Here are the bags and the water bottles that everyone received. One of my downline, Sue Parker, is the MDS Queen and helped with anything that had to do with MDS that day! Name tags, bag tags and water labels! THANK YOU SUE!
I am blessed by my team mates, they truly are such wonderful friends to me!
I’ll be sharing some of our projects that we made that day. Here is one of the favorites, Frankie out of the French Fry box! I’m sure you’ve seen many of these on Pinterest. That’s where I got the idea. I added a cello bag (actually it’s a cello envelope with the top cut off!) with some Hershey kisses inside along with some plastic bugs. The tag says “Bugs and Kisses” for a play on words.
Would you like to JOIN THE FUN? You can also be included in these types of events and MORE! I would love to have you join my team of weSTAMPERS. By joining my community, you can purchase your Stampin’ Up products at wholesale prices. You aren’t obligated to hold workshops or classes either! Last weekend I held my weSTAMP Founder’s Circle event. We had such a GREAT TIME! 10 gals earned it and 6 attended (some were out of state but still got the goodies!) It was patterned after Stampin’ Up’s Founder’s Circle, which meant pampering, table (pillow) gifts, make and takes, displays, door prizes, lunch, SWEETS, but best of all FRIENDS and FUN!
I’d LOVE for you to join my team so you, too, can get in on the fun!
Right now you can sign to join my team for only $50! You can choose $55 of products from the BRAND NEW CATALOG!

Here’s a make and take we did at weSTAMP last month. It shows off the NEW IN COLORS!! They are YUMMY! Janet Wakeland came up with this darling idea! THANKS JANET!
One of the highlights of my month includes spending time with my team weSTAMP! We had such a fun evening this week!!
The theme of our swap this month was making a card or 3-D item using products from the Sale a Bration or Spring Catalogs. We displayed everyone’s swaps and then voted on our favorites. There was a TIE! Here are the two winners, complete with the diva crown and sash that they proudly got to wear. The sash says BEST weSTAMP Swap, and it has a crown with jewels on it.
Here is Jennie Portonova’s darling winning swap:
Here is a photo of Kathy Mobley and her beautiful winning swap as well! (Kathy is the gal who made the sash, too!)
CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!
You can be a part of this fun group as well! We welcome hobbyists, business builders and everyone in between! Sale a Bration time is THE BEST time to sign up! You can customize your starter kit to fit your needs. How would you like to receive $156.50 worth of products for only $99 (FREE SHIPPING AS WELL!) Contact me and become a weSTAMPER! You can also sign up by going to my Stampin’ Up demonstrator site HERE.
Here are some treats we gave our downline at the weSTAMP Christmas party! I saw the idea on Zoe’s blog last year HERE.
Have you ever checked out Miss Tina’s Fonts? You can find her website HERE. I LOVELOVELOVE her fonts! I used the font “Skinny Jeans” on the words: Rudolph Noses.
I have uploaded the “Reindeer Noses” pdf that I made. Feel free to use this! Just click HERE. I printed this on Crumb Cake paper, and then stamped white snowflakes on it. Just eyeball it when you put it in the top note die. (I first printed it on computer paper to figure out where to set the cardstock on the Big shot, then used the real cardstock). Here are some photos of our weSTAMP Christmas party from earlier this week.
Here’s a photo of the gift I made for our weSTAMP gift exchange. The letters are cut out of wood, and then covered in Holly Berry Bouquet DSP. The letters are about 8″ tall. I found the oversized jingle bell at a local “Big Box” store. I found the letters on Etsy HERE.
Last night was our weSTAMP Christmas party!! Here’s a group photo of us! We had such a wonderful evening filled with FUN, FOOD, and FRIENDSHIP! Stamping was involved, OF COURSE! Here’s a photo of what everyone made. It is an 8×10 Christmas shadow box. Our own Nancy Riley designed this and got everything ready for the evening. Isn’t it beautiful?? THANK YOU NANCY!!! (The largest squares in the box are 2″ x 2″) Check back, more photos of our party will follow!!
What a fun gathering we had this month for weSTAMP! We have quite a few new gals joining our group, that is SO EXCITING!
We always start the evening off with a make and take. Stephanie came up with this fun little Halloween project! It features a medallion and would make a cute wine bottle tag or fun to hang on a cabinet knob or door! THANKS STEPHANIE! The theme for our swap was to use something from the new Holiday Mini Catalog. Here are this month’s swaps!

Even if you’re not local, you can still join in on the fun and participate with us! We have swaps that are open to anyone who is in weSTAMP!
I joined Stampin’ Up about 5 1/2 years ago. My biggest fear was how I was going to make the $300 minimum every quarter! My deciding factor was that I knew I was going to purchase things whether I bought wholesale or retail. So why not get the starter kit and get a jump start on awesome products at a discounted price? I signed up and even 5 1/2 years into it, I am just as excited about Stampin’ Up as the day I signed up! I hope you will consider this opportunity, but time is running out! The deadline is Monday, Oct. 31st. You can sign up on my online demonstrator site HERE.
Feel free to email me if you have ANY questions, or just want to chat about what is involved with being a demonstrator. Remember, you don’t have to hold workshops or classes! You can sign up just for the discount and be a hobbyist demonstrator! Also, minimums aren’t due until March 31st, 2010, if you decide to continue your demonstratorship.
