WAY TO GO NANCY! I just have to “toot her horn” because she has had a BIG week! Nancy Riley is my “sideline”, and we host our monthly downline meetings (we call ourselves the weSTAMP group, which the name is a take off on Nancy’s iSTAMP blog.)
Anyhow, check out Nancy’s blog HERE. You can see for yourself WHY her week was SO BIG! Nancy was the featured stamper on SCS, which is such a privilege to be asked to do! Not only that, but she has been added as a guest designer for the company “Paper Pretties”! WOOOHOOO! I tease her that she is a “SUPERSTAR” now! I am SO EXCITED for her. She is one of sweetest stampers and friends I know!
To celebrate her achievements this week, I took part in the weekly challenge honoring her. Here is the challenge info on SCS, HERE.
I made a card for her (which will be sent to her in the mail, congratulating her) and I’m sure she’ll see it online before she gets it…..LOL). What you do for this challenge is CASE one of her cards, but change a couple things on it. I chose to case THIS card. This is what I came up with. Hope she likes it!Recipe:
Stamp Sets: Happy Heart Day, Baroque Motifs, Time Well Spent
Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Silver
Ink: Basic Black, Silver
Accessories: Square Punches, Black Gingham Ribbon, Silver Cording, Red Prima Flower, Black Brad
BEAUTIFUL CARD LORRI! I love it!! You are so talented!
Lorri, you silly silly girl! I certainly don’t deserve all the hoopla you’ve given me (but it’s very very nice!). I LOVE LOVE LOVE this card, and I can’t believe I’m going to be getting the ACTUAL card! woohoo!!! You are just always thinking of others, Lorri! So happy you participating in a SCS challenge … they’re fun, huh?! Your card is SPECTAULAR, and so are YOU!!! Stampin’ Hugs~ Nancy
Lorri, I don’t know if you remember me from HBC but my name is Ginger dunham. You were so sweet to me while pregnant and after having Emma. You made such a sweet comment on the HBC blog after Emma’s first birthday. i remember we have a “kinship” since we had babies in our 40’s. I just found your blog through Susan Tutens blog and I love it. I use to sell Stampin up for many, many years. I loved doing just got a little overwhelming. I think I might become inspired again looking at your blog. I think I would also love to see a catalog if possible. Let me know if you have a spare. I sure miss seeing all of you at HBC.
