Here are the projects we did at my Stamp Classes this month. I used many Sale a Bration Stamp sets, plus an Easter one. I will include the recipes below.
This card was inspired by my sideline, Pam, who is also a member of our weSTAMP group! This was her swap card for our meeting last month, and you can view her card again HERE. I LOVE pink and brown together!Recipe:Stamp sets: Priceless, Sincere Salutations, Birthday Whimsy, Little PiecesPaper: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Regal RoseInk: Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, So SaffronAccessories: Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon, White Gel Pen, Pink Stickles
I was inspired by “scrapnextras”, who made this card HERE I wanted something BRIGHT and CHEERY for class. We are in AZ and it’s getting WARMER every day!
Recipe:
Stamp Set: In the Spotlight, So Many Scallops
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Pink Passion, Yo Yo Yellow, Whisper White
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Pink Passion
Accessories: White Gel Pen (to make “stitch” on button), Dimensionals to POP one of the flowers, 1″ Circle Punch, Scallop Punch, Non SU Ribbon
When I saw this card HERE I immediately fell in love with the SIMPLICITY of it! Here is my rendition of it.
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Birthday Whimsy
Paper: So Saffron, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Spring Fling DP
Ink: Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon, Square Punches
This was the Easter card we did at class. I just got this stamp set and had fun using TWO TONES on it. I stamped it with the lighter color, then randomly brushed with my makers on the stamp itself to give it a two tone look. I did that technique with both the stems and the tulips.
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Never Ending Joy, Floral BackgroundPaper: Elegant Eggplant, Barely Banana, Natural WhiteInk: Elegant Eggplant, Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke, Almost Amethyst, Lovely LilacAccessories: Non SU ribbon
Last but not least, our “craft”! (I always do 4 cards and a crafty type project). The pattern for this can be found on the Stampin’ Up Website under Patterns. I also peeked at Nancy Riley’s project. She made these last year for a downline meeting. Her rendition can be found HERE
