Here is a group picture of the weSTAMPERS that came to our meeting tonight! What a fun group of gals! Want to join us? Let me tell you how to get started!!
We started out the night with a Make and Take, provided by Nancy Riley. She chose a card that was CASED by Carol Frerichs and her blog can be found HERE We used the chalkboard technique which can be found HERE We all absolutely LOVED making this card!
This card was made by Ginny. She really thinks out of the box! (No pun intended, there is a BOX cut-out on this card.) She did a great job pulling stamps from many different sets, and used these stamps VERY creatively! There is a surprise inside when you open it up, but I can’t reveal it now. Look at all these LAYERS!
This card designed by Anne, belongs in a FRAME! As beautiful as this picture is, it doesn’t do this justice. What you can’t see is these flowers are 2 and 3 layers! We’re talking these flowers are COMING AT YOU! LOL It is such an elegant beautiful card, love the colors, too. There are Stickles used throughout the card. Wish you could see how she cut around the bee antenna! Anne I think you could also be a surgeon! Thanks for taking the time to make all these one of a kind cards!
Nancy Riley came up with this “Girlie” purse themed card, which goes over well for Mother’s Day! This card will be awesome to show off the wonderful Stampin’ Up Punches! She used the round tab punch for the purse, 2 ovals for the handles, and the word window punch for the clasp part. LOVE this card Nancy! Thanks so much! Oh did I mention how much I LOVE Cutie Pie paper, too?
Diana is one my new recruits and made her swap debut tonight! Look at the elegant floral card. What mom doesn’t LOVE receiving flowes for Mother’s Day? What you can’t see is the 3-D butterfly that is POPPED with dimensionals and the wings are folded back a bit. She also used some Stickles on this card. The Happy Mother’s Day is embossed with glitter, too. BEAUTIFUL! Love the color comb on this one! Great job Diana! I’m so glad you have joined our group!
Pam did an awesome job with this card! She used Spring Fling for the designer paper and the stamp set “Always”. The swirlies in the bird has Stickles. Can you tell weSTAMPERS love the glittery look? What a fun springy card, PERFECT for Mother’s Day! Pam has GREAT ideas and she posts on her blog, which can be found HERE
I get so inspired by Pam! Thank you for your awesome card
I always look forward to Adriana’s card because I know the gals at my class are going to love her ideas. Ada used the Bo Ho Punch and One of a Kind set for this card. Those 2 products were made for each other so you only have to line these up one time! No cutting!! How great is that! I love the colors she came up with. She also made this card on confetti paper, which I haven’t even gotten my hands on yet! Thanks Ada for another great swap card!
Take a good look at this tulip!! It is from the stamp set Pick a Petal! How creative is that, to layer the petals to form a tulip! I had not seen that idea before! The tulip petals are popped up so they are 3-D. I love the polka dot theme of this card with the background paper. Very cute card with lots of layering. Ok, and I am very partial to BROWN these days. Love that grosgrain ribbon! Jessica you stamp as well as you cook! 🙂
I can’t wait to showcase this card at my classes, designed by Leah. Get a load of all the designer paper that is on display on this card! This is the Bali Breeze DP. What a bright, fun card for Mother’s Day! This is also layered to the hilt and there are dimensionals all over the place. I feel like I am at a 3-D movie! Love how she used the scallop punch 2 times, and the BLING in the center. LOVE THIS CARD! Thanks Leah, your swaps are awesome.
Linda made this card. When I first saw it I shouted out I HAVE THAT STAMP SET! I love it when that happens! I can totally CASE this and don’t have to purchase antother set! Linda used pastels to color in the flowers from Simply Said. I need to find those curly paper clips! Those are so fun and add to the card. She used the double stitched ribbon in purely pomegranite to decorate the left side. Any mom would “CHERISH” this card! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us Linda! Linda also did the 3-mn. demo at our meeting. I’m so bummed, I forgot to take a picture of it! She did beaded pens. I will try to repost that picture when I find someone who snapped one. Sorry about that!
Last but not least, this was the swap I did. I tried to simulate the sugary orange slice candies. You can’t see it well in the picture, but there is glitter all over the stamped orange pieces. The orange background is done with the Cuttlebug. I used the swiss dot embossing folder. I discovered something by accident. When I folded it over, I folded it reverse so the dots were on the INSIDE. That makes a REVERSE emboss.Well it really does look like the skin of an orange, so I kept it folded that way!! If you have this cuttlebug folder, give it a try, you will know what I am talking about when you see it done in person. It is SO COOL! LOL Oh the little things in life, simulating an orange peel! “ORANGE” YOU GLAD I SHARED THAT? LOL Ok, it’s time for bed here…..
Now that is a Party!! 🙂 I love the countertop made out of cards! hee hee hee. You guys just have way too much fun LOL Great stuff. Geezzz…I gotta come meet you all someday. Not like I have to take a plane or anything! BTW…isn’t it just BEAUTIFUL outside lately! Enjoy it while we can…cause the heat is on it’s way…yuck!
I am sad I dont live closer! I will be ready for the next swap though. Glad you all had a great time. Happy Stamping Mauna
We are truly blessed to have such a talented and enthusiastic downline and sideline, aren’t we?! Our demo group is AWESOME !!!
