In case you don’t know me, I am more of a behind the scenes type of person. That’s why I hesitate to even mention this. HOWEVER, I want to share what I received from my creative stamping friends!!
Last week was my birthday. Birthdays come WAY too often, so I try to DOWNPLAY them, but WOW did I ever get spoiled this year! Here are some of the awesome cards I got from some friends of mine!
This first card is from Adriana. This is SUCH A CLEVER card! Did you notice the fruit and how it simulates “B DAY”? You are just TOO CREATIVE Adriana! And of course, Adriana used my all time favorite summer stamp set, Tart and Tangy! YUMMY!
This card is from Diana. You can’t see it in the picture, but there are dry embossed scrolly borders on each corner. Even the ENVELOPE was decorated to the hilt! This is such a beautiful card! This card came from Ginny. I wish you could see it in person! The “L” has shimmery embossing on it. It is STUNNING! She used the Big Shot on this card, with faux stitching. She also used all my favorite colors in this!! What a beautiful card!!
Terri came up with this card for me! I always comment on Terri’s eye for design AND COLOR! She has a natural talent for that! This card is actually an 8 1/2 x 11 just folded in half. So it is LARGE! I love everytthing about this card!!
My friend, Chris, created this one. Chris has a unique style. You can’t really tell in the picture, but there is a vellum overlay on this card. I know that vellum is one of her favorite papers to use. Isn’t this gorgeous?
This unique gift was given to me by Nancy Riley. I call this my BIRTHDAY BLING in Tempting Turquoise! This darling paint can (with ACETATE) was plump full of fun things! There is a BLING tank top, BLING pen that looks like lipstick, a bookmark with a BLING jewel in the center, BLING jewel stickers, felt flowers with BLING in the center, and BLING turquoise Stickles! What more could a girl ask for?
Last but not least, I want to share the card my son made. Brady is 4 years old. He enjoys stamping as much as I do! Here is one of his creations without stamps. The card says “You Rock Mom”. Isn’t that the cutest thing? He MELTS my heart (and he KNOWS it! He has been known to say, “Mom, did I melt your heart?”) LOL The inside has a picture of us holding hands. AAAwwwwww!
I promise, this is the last picture. Here are my two sweeties, stamping some pictures. Dan is such an awesome dad. He will do anything for his kids, including STAMPING with them, and posing for a picture. (He’d DIE if he knew this was on my stamping blog, though! Shhhh don’t tell!)
Great, great projects, Lorri.
Always fun to see what evryone comes up. Tfs:
