This little piggy abided by the rules and STAYED HOME! Your friends will get a kick out of this card and bring a smile to their face! Be sure to check out my video below to see how I created this card!
I made the sentiment “stayed home” in a cute font on my computer. You can download the PDF of the words “stayed home” HERE.
If you place an order from my online store store this month, I will send you this card as my way of saying THANK YOU!
Here’s a video on how to create this card! Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel! I’m trying to reach 1,000 subscribers! THANK YOU!
This is such a cute & clever card! I love it!!! Can you tell me the name of the font you used for the sentiment you created? It’s so cute! TFS!!!
Hi there!
I have a download of the sentiment on my blog, not sure if you noticed that. The font I used is called Skinny Jeans from Miss Tina’s Fonts. Thanks for visiting my blog!
Thank you so much for answering my question. I did see that you shared the download. (Thank you for that) I just loved the font & was interested in possibly using it to print the sentiment for the inside of a card. I also thought it would make a cute card with SU’s Barn Door stamp set (and dies) with the little piggy on the left side & the sentiment on the right side. Thank you again for sharing!
Hi Lori,
First off I would like to tell you that I enjoy your videos.
On the “This Little Piggy” card you said that you ran the front of the card through the subtle embossing folder, did you fold the card in half to be able to have the subtle embossing lines going straight up and down?
Thank you so much and Stay Safe.
Sincerely,
Dawn
Hi Dawn! Thank you for your sweet words of encouragement! I appreciate that!!!
I didn’t have to fold my card to emboss it, just run it through the embossing machine with the fold of the embossing folder matching the fold in your card. You may have to run it 90 degrees than how you may be doing it now. I have a Big Shot machine and there is enough room to run the card either way! If you have a Cuttlebug, I don’t think the machine is wide enough to do that. In that case, you will have to fold your card. The embossing lines are going vertical. I hope that helps! Thanks again!
Thanks for sharing such a cute idea! I cased it and made 12 to send out and give people a chuckle.
Such a stinkin cute card! Your video was GREAT. So Easy to follow along and jot notes. I never had to keep replaying to think in my head, “What?” Thank you so much for the quick share of the PDF for the words. I’m casing to send friends right away.
