Gnome Card Sent to YOU!

Here’s a fun little gnome card! (PS I LOVE GNOMES!) The gnome to the right was created by Ronda from Lola’s Gnomes on FB. Check her out!

I was inspired by a card on Pinterest found HERE. I made the sentiment from my computer, (font is The Skinny Dunn) and the hat was hand cut. The nose is made from a small pom pom. I scored a couple times on the left side of the watercolor paper to add some interest.

Here’s a little background on the gnome beard on the card….. when we lived in Minnesota, I used to country crafts, woodworking, sewing, etc. I even did craft shows! I had a bunch of crafts that used REAL SHEEP WOOL! I went out to a farm, actually chose which sheep wool I wanted, brought it home and cleaned it, and then could use them in my crafts!

Who knew over 20 years later I’d put my stash to work again!

I’d LOVE to make a card for you! Just order from my online store HERE and I’ll make one for you, and send it to you! Please email me after ordering, letting me know you would like the GNOME card! Don’t forget to use the Hostess Code on the right sidebar, please! Thank you!

I love how trends come and go…..and then come back again! When I grew up our house was filled with rooster decor. This stamp set brings back memories!

This was really fast and simple – I love stamping directly on the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper! Just color in the rooster with Watercolor Pencils, then use a Blender Pen to blend the colors!

This stamp set is FREE with a $50 order during Sale a Bration!

So Hoppy Together Card

This was another card from my team event last month – that little froggy set is so fun to work with! It can be yours FREE with a $50 order during Sale a Bration!

The new Dot to Dot Embossing Folder looks like frog skin with it’s bumps! LOL

To make the tongue I just made a small slit by the frog’s mouth and added a 1/8″ strip of cardstock. I wrapped it around a skewer so it curled a bit.

The fly wings have a hint of Wink of Stella. It’s all in the DETAILS!

3×3 Incredible Like You Card

Here’s a simple 3×3 card, featuring the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper! The paper speaks for itself, and you don’t have to add too much to it!

We have cute little envelopes that the cards fit into perfectly! Don’t send naked envelopes! LOL

Cardstock is 3″ x 6″, scored in half.

Don’t forget, Virtual Stamp Club packets will be this week! If you would like to receive 3 completed projects this month, please order by February 13th and use the hostess code to the right! You’re going to love this month’s projects!

If you order after Feb. 13th, you will receive next month’s projects. Read more about my Virtual (and local) Clubs HERE.

weSTAMP Regionals Project – Sweetest Thing Bundle

Here’s another project from my weSTAMP Regional event last month. I love this suite, the colors are so bright and cheery! Look at all the dies that are included with this bundle, 14 of them! There are so many candy pieces, it only takes one crank of the Big Shot to get many pieces!

I used a Versa Mark pad and Black Embossing Powder on the Silver Foil Cardstock. It shows up much better using that ink and powder.

Valentine’s Day Goodies!

Valentiene’s Day is in the air around our home! Today’s post is YUMMY!

My favorite piece of furniture in my home is my coffee niche! I visit this area quite often during the day! LOL

This area is where I put my seasonal items – alongside my favorite things….coffee…..Rae Dunn…..gnomes…..fun holiday decor…..

Look at the beautiful projects made with the Meant to Be bundle! Did you realize you get 16 framelits in this bundle? WOW that is a great deal! These framelits can be used YEAR ROUND (think wedding, anniversaries, baby, birthday, or thinking of you!)

You can find the link to these products below. You can bundle the stamp set and framelits together and save 10%, or purchase them separately.

I love baking, so here’s a treat I had at my last Stamp Club. It’s probably the recipe I have made most out of all the recipes I have.

The gnome beside the brownies was actually one of my Christmas gnomes! Slap a heart on him and he turns into a Valentine’s Day gnome!

Caramel Brownies

1 bag of caramels
2/3 C. evaporated milk
1 German Chocolate Cake mix
½ C. melted butter
12 oz. chocolate chips

Melt caramels over low heat with just 1/3 C. of the evaporated milk.
Grease 9×13 pan.
Combine boxed dry cake mix, butter, and the other 1/3 C. of the evaporated milk. Stir. Press ½ of this dough mixture into the bottom of the pan. Bake 350 degrees 10 mn.
Sprinkle ½ of chips on bottom layer
Spread caramel over chips
Crumble rest of dough (or just pull apart chunks of dough) and place these randomly over the top of the caramel.
Sprinkle rest of chips on top.
Bake 15-18 mn.
Cool and refrigerate at least 30 mn. (This will make the chips get firm.) After that they don’t have to be refrigerated.

ENJOY!

Flowering Desert Card

Living in AZ, of course, this stamp set was at the top of my list! It’s a must have for Arizonians!

This card is 4″ x 4″. The card front base has the Subtle Embossing Folder embossed on it, OH SO SUBTLE!

Here are some fun facts about the saguaro cactus! Did you know:

weSTAMP Regionals! Monthly Framed HOME Project

This frame holds a 6×4 photo

Here are all the interchangeable monthly pieces to place in the “O” postition

This little tote holds all the monthly pieces we made. It is made from 1/2 an acetate box and  is open at the top!

I host events exclusively for my team from time to time, and this past weekend we had one of these events! I love doing these events. There’s just something about gathering together like-minded people who love to paper craft! This warms my heart!

I think everyone’s favorite project we made was the HOME project! There are a lot of these ideas on Pinterest! It was new to me though, so I had fun coming up with the interchangeable “O” pieces. Each monthly piece has a Velcro dot, and then the opposite Velcro dot is placed in the framed piece, the between the H and the M.

I found my frame at Hobby Lobby. The inside dimension is 4″ x 6″.

I also made a little tote that will hold all the monthly pieces. I found a video tutorial on how to make this on the uber creative Kelley Acheson’s blog HERE. It is made from half of an acetate box that Stampin’ Up sells. You can purchase these items on my Stampin’ Up website HERE. Don’t forget, if you spend $50, you can choose a FREE SALE A BRATION ITEM!

I won’t list all the items I used, I used almost everything in my craft room! LOL It was fun and simple, just took some time to cut and punch for everyone.

Here are some photos of our event! We had demonstrations, make and takes, prize patrol, catered lunch, swaps, and fun fun fun!

You should consider joining my team so you can get in on all the perks! Team members could attend in person, or get it in kit form to be mailed out! Don’t forget, you can choose $175 worth of products for only $99 during Sale a Bration! Click HERE to sign up to be on my team!

Heavy Heart plus LOVE Card

My precious father in law passed away yesterday, I have such a heavy heart. He meant the world to me – and heaven gained an amazing angel!

I like to describe my in law’s marriage like the sweet little couple in the movie Up. These two were so in love all those years of marriage.

Look at this family! They have 11 children! One of the most fun we have with this family is listening to the stories of them growing up on the farm. It’s amazing the kids are all still alive after hearing these stories!

I believe the last count is about 75 grand/great grandchildren! Not all of them are pictured in this photo taken a few years ago. What a legacy my father in law has left!

We had an anniversary party a few years ago for my in laws. We all rented cabins on a lake in Mn. and had a week of fun, fellowship, laughter and lake-life! It was one of my most favorite weeks with this family. Cherished memories…..

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting any projects. Sometimes life just happens. If you remember, we had a friend pass away 3 weeks ago as well, and now this. It’s been a tough month for us here, but am thankful our friend and father in law knew Christ in a personal way and are at his side as I type!

Here’s a card we made at Stamp Club this week – my sweet downline ran half of my classes this month so I could be with family in Mn. Thank you Janice and Linda!!!!!!!! Love you two! I couldn’t have done it without you!!!! This card features Hey Love stamp set and Be Mine Stitched Framelits from the new spring catalog.

God bless you all, and hug those you love, you never know when it will be your last day!
