Carryover Set – WIshing You Well

This set is worth it’s weight in GOLD – all because of the beautiful BOW in this set! This has been my “go to” set for fast and simple cards. I love how the shading is automatic because of how the stamps are cut with these types of stamps!

It’s hard to see in the photo, but when you add clear Wind of Stella to the bow, it turns a tiny shade darker, and glimmers like a shimmery organza ribbon! It’s definitely the focal point of the card! Give it a try so you know what I mean!

You can still get this stamp set, even though it’s not pictured in the spring catalog! It was such a popular set, they have carried it over into the new year!

December in a Nutshell

December has been filled with HIGHS and LOWS for my family. I apologize for the lack of posts this month….just want to share what’s going on in our little world.

Let’s start with the HIGHS! Sweet little Addison, our 7th grandchild, was born! What a highlight for our family! She’s so adorable and we are so excited to add yet ANOTHER GRANDAUGHTER into our family! What a little blessing!

This is my friend (and downline!), Angie! Angie is truly one of my heroes and inspires me daily. You may have read her story on my FB page. She and I met years ago when our boys were in karate when they were little! Angie got hurt while she was participating in karate (she’s such a go-getter! Instead of just watching our boys practive so many times during the week, she decided to join them and get some excercise while she was there!) FAST FORWARD almost 6 years later and this was the result of that accident. (and seeing countless doctors…..) A little over a week ago, she got her leg amputated above the knee. Her unwavering faith and trust in God during this has carried her! I am SO BLESSED by her story!!!

A terrible accident happened to our dear friend, Terry (2nd to the left in the photo above). He was on a family hike on his birthday last week and had a tragic fall off of Camelback Mountain, resulting in his death. I am STILL in shock – we “do life” with this family! We see them every other week at their house, have dinner together, go on our annual ski vacation each year with them, etc. Please keep my friend in your prayers, and their twin boys who are seniors in high school this year. We are grateful Terry is in heaven now but it’s so difficult to process what has just happened!

I wanted to include the last graphic, which is the GREATEST GIFT OF ALL. So many things in life can change in a heartbeat, but the gift of Christ to us is constant and everlasting! It means so much to me, especially this year, with all that has gone on.

I’m ready to get back in the saddle and start stamping again! Thank you for your mercy on my little “blog-sabbatical” here while we dealt with things that were thrown our way.

Hope you all have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! God bless you my friends!

Bella and Friends Christmas Card

Bella and Friends sure has gotten some use in my Stamping Studio this month! There’s something irresistible about a cute little pup! All I did was stamp and cluster the dogs and put them in in the gal’s hands.

Be sure and check out the updated Closeout items! You can order HERE.

If your total order is over $150, you can purchase Hand Delivered (my favorite Host stamp set!)

Christmas Gift Card Holder

If you’re like me, and hoard Designer Series Paper, Christmas is the time to use some of that up by making your own envelopes! We made these at Stamp Club this month! This is a pocket card that holds a gift card. You can see Santa peeking behind the cup!

The gift card is 4″ x 3″, so that’s the size you want to make when creating your envelope. You can see the chart on the envelope maker on where to make your first score and punch.

The card stock to used to create the gift card holder is 6 3/4″ x 3″, and scored at 3″ on long side. I didn’t adhere sides together, it is held together with ribbon tied around the whole card.

More BARK Treats!

One more BARK project to show you! You can see the previous post HERE (supplies and recipe link). The previous one was a gift for my team party. This one is for my personal use. It’s basically the same except a larger bowl and a laminated sign instead of a tag. SO FUN!!!!!

The dog bowl is Rae Dunn, in case you didn’t recognize the brand.

Country Home Meets Many Blessings

Here’s a combination of Many Blessings and Country Home stamp sets! I love the farmhouse feel of this stamp set, but wanted it to be a little more festive, so mixed it with Many Blessings.

This is how I created the project above.

First I stamped Many Blessings on Whisper White cardstock, but put a post-it-note where the crock is, as shown below.

Then I cut a mask out of a post it note, as shown below.

Place the mask over the Many Blessings stamped image, and stamp the larger floral stamp from Country Home stamp set. Then stamp the bottom container.

The rest is simple, just color it in, fussy cut, and then place it on the front of your card!

Pazookie Christmas Treats

Do you know what a “pazookie” is? It’s a half baked cookie and then you add ice cream on top after you take it out of the oven. That is one of my favorite desserts! I figured out a way to make individual pazookies and gave them as a party favor! They are individual servings in a small Kerr jar. Then when they get them home they just pop the jar in the microwave for 15-20 seconds and add their ice cream!

You can use your favorite cookie dough, but I went the easy route and just bought pre-made Toll House cookie dough. I have the instructions on the tag below. FUN easy gift!

Here’s the assembly line! LOL

Farmhouse Christmas Ornaments

We had so much excitement in our family this week with a new grandaughter, so I’ve been away from my projects for a few days! I’m back and it and want to share what we made at our weSTAMP Christmas party! We created these 3-D ornaments using Farmhouse Christmas! There are mica flakes inside that shake and move around to simulate snow.

Later I took a little extra time and personalized some of the trucks. I just shrunk down photos of my kids and put them in the truck. You can see I even added the new baby in this one! These ornaments will be gifts for my kids. I just love personalized things!

Dan has a blue truck (like the one below) so I put our son’s kids in that one. They LOVE his truck and always want to ride in it when they are here!

Some other notes:

I added dots of snow on the background piece (Pool Party) using liquid glue and Dazzling Diamonds.

To make sure the ornament stays closed, just wrap Tear & Tape around the seam of the ball, then cover with ribbon.

I purchased these ornaments at Hobby Lobby. There is a pattern inside the bulb so you can trace that to get the exact size you need for the background piece!

Baby Addison Born!

So this happened last night!!!! What a great early Christmas gift from above! We are so excited to welcome Addison Kate into our family! Sisters Stella and Reese are SO EXCITED to have a sister!

More stamping projects coming up after this little celebration in our family!
