I know this style of treat has been around the block, but I never tire of it! Who can resist Hershey Nuggets?
The little “tray” the the nuggets sit on is made with a 5″ x 1 7/8″ piece of black cardstock, scored at 1/4″ and 1 5/8″ on the long sides. Then you just wrap the Hershey Nuggets in 1″ x 3″ pieces of Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper!

One thing I LOVE about the Stampin’ Up catalogs is the cards and projects that are showcased there! I get so inspired by their concept artists! Take this card, for example. I just switched up the idea in the catalog (shown below) and turned it into a card. Once again, the Trick or Tweet stamp set is one of my favorites!
NOTE TO SELF: BUFFALO CHECK STAMP IS A MUST HAVE IN YOUR STAMP STASH THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!! I’M SERIOUS!
I love cards that show off the Designer Series Paper that we have – how it coordinates with each other! Squares are 1 1/4″ x 1 1/4″. Check out the Toil and Trouble DSP in the holiday catalog! And also the Trick or TWEET stamp set! Catalog link to the right on my sidebar.
Winding down my Cozy Craft Retreat projects….. this one is our new thinlit dies, Takeout Treats. I paired this with Trick or Tweet stamp set! There is a cute little spider charm, also available from our holiday Stampin’ Up catalog! (see link on my sidebar to the right!) I tied the bow with muslin fabric. The gals enjoyed this little treat project!
I was inspired by Jacquelyn Williams on the cruise with her cute little Frankenstein treat box, here’s my version!
Here’s yet another Cozy Craft Retreat project! The front has Frost Shimmer Paint mixed with rubbing alcohol for a frosty look. It’s hard to see in the photo! The nose is 3-D and sticks out away from the crate.

I had a couple cards at the Cozy Craft Retreat that weren’t holiday related….this was one of them! This was one of the fastest, easiest cards I’ve ever made! I saw some ideas like this on Pinterest. My sweet hubby bent paper clips for the “paint roller” for all the gals. What a guy! He also sharpened everyone’s paper snips (I forgot to get a photo of that!!!!) He’s always so supportive of my business! The paint roller is an extra fuzzy pipe cleaner. The handle I cut out with my Silhouette machine.
Here’s another card from the All Occasion Stamp a Stack card at the Cozy Craft Retreat, featuring the stamp set PS You’re the Best! I love office-type cards! There were many choices of sentiments to plug in on this card!
This card was one of the gal’s favorites at the retreat. Remember how I said I have a passion for candy corn at Halloween? Well, my Christmas passion is Christmas light bulbs! I made the box on my Silhouette machine so I didn’t have to hand cut and score. Check out the “Making Christmas Bright” stamp set in the holiday catalog!
I turned the sentiment into the string of lights by adding a light and plug. The plug was created by snipping the end of the tulip from the Vases Builder Punch.
Here’s another card from my All Occasion Stamp a Stack at the reteat. There were many options for sentiments. I love the color combo on this, Coastal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape. The stamp set is Abstract Impressions.
This card was near and dear to my heart because our logo for the weekend was the Christmas pick up truck with the tree in the back. I can’t get enough of that Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper, which was used on many of our projects!
Here’s another card from the All Occasion Stamp a Stack at the retreat. I used the Hand Delivered stamp set, and stamped the girl holding library books. Then I cut different Designer Series Paper and covered up the library books to convert this into a birthday card!
I still have more retreat photos for you, but taking a quick break from them to post a Halloween project or two! SOON it will be Oct. and I need to post Halloween ideas before it’s too late!
My favorite stamp set for the Halloween season was Trick or Tweet. The cutest little animals are in this set!
If you know me well, you know I have a fetish for candy corn – not necessarily to EAT them (although they are YUMMY with peanuts), but the decorate and use the color scheme with! Seems every year some how I incorporate the 3 candy corn colors in a card. Here’s this year’s version!
The little sign is hard to see, here’s a better version of the laminated sign I made. THANKS Jennie Portonova for sending this cartoon to me! She knows I get a kick out of candy corn things!
