Here’s a sweet little Easter card to make for your friends and family this year! And now, the EMBOSSING FOLDER is FREE during the last 2 weeks of Sale a Bration with a qualifying order! Be sure and check out my previous post HERE.
I cut the animals from “We Must Celebrate” apart using an Exacto knife!!! GASP! But I feel they are even more versatile cut apart!!!
The tag is a piece of cardstock that is 2″ x 4″. Use the Scalloped Tag Topper to punch the top, and hand cut the banner portion on the bottom. To make the bottom banner even, I like to snip about 1/2″ up the middle, then go snip left corner to middle, and then snip right corner to middle!
Check out the additional items for Sale a Bration during the last 2 weeks of March! These items are FREE with a qualifying order! You can view the full brochure HERE.
I got the pleasure of having lunch with sweet Jean Piersanti, one of my team members. Jean is UBER creative, quite famous in the YouTube world, and has a great following! In fact, I told her I wanted her autograph when we met for lunch!!! LOL
Jean’s claim to fame is re-purposing things that are inexpensive, and making fun crafty things out of them! Many of her items she finds at Dollar Tree and the 99 Cent Store!
I want to share a funny story with you……bear with me, but I LOVE THIS STORY!
We had a team meeting last month. Our team knows that Jean is popular on YouTube, and that she has a growing audience. One of my other team members (Kimberley) said she was at Dollar Tree and she heard Jean’s voice. She TOTALLY recognized her voice and was rushing from aisle to aisle to say hi to her. She was so excited that Jean was actually at the store when she was, probably shopping for something crafty to feature on her YouTube channel! Kimberley finally found the aisle where Jean’s voice was coming from….HOWEVER…….. it wasn’t actually Jean!!! It was a Dollar Tree customer, who was watching Jean’s YouTube video, and trying to find the products that Jean was talking about in the video!!! Oh my goodness, we got quite a chuckle out of that! See, Jean is quite well known!
Thank you for visiting my blog during the All-Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop! I used the stamp set Bubble Over this month. The recipe for my card can be found at the end of my post.
Here are some tips for creating this card
The card is 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored in half on the long side.
Each wave is die cut from a 1″ x 6 1/2″ strip so I could stagger where the peaks of the waves fall. Use Dimensionals and Foam Strips for different thicknesses between the waves.
Use the Seaside Textured Embossing Folder on all of the blue strips before adhering to card.
After you die cut the bottle from a Window Sheet, use a Journaling Pen to make a line around the bottle so the bottle shows up better against the background.
I used real cork (non-Stampin’ Up) and hand cut the shape. The cork is adhered with a glue dot.
To adhere the bottle so you can’t see the glue dots to secure it, position them behind things. I added a glue dot in the lower right corner of the bottle (behind the wave) and underneath the message in the bottle.
The message in the bottle is computer paper that is about 2″ x 1 1/2″.
The mermaid’s tail was colored in by rubbing Q-Tips on the ink pads.
The mermaid’s tail has Wink of Stella on it to make it shimmer (hard to see in photo).

Stay tuned for the March All Star Tutorial Blog Hop tomorrow so you can see even MORE ways to use these products!!!
My daughter became a Norwex consultant recently. Because of health issues, she was forced to look for more natural products to use. If you haven’t heard about Norwex, check out her website HERE.
Of course, I had to come up with some sort of paper crafting idea to help launch her business! I came up with a miniature cleaning caddy and replicated some of their popular products. I LOVE making mini things! Her business cards fit on the other side of the caddy
I have a tutorial of the basic caddy in my online store HERE. You can dress it up in whatever way you want!
Have you ever tried Norwex? There are a lot of Norwex products, but I think they are most known for their cleaning products. We’re talking RAGS and water, no chemicals in the cleanup! You have to see it to believe it!
Here’s a video showing “the butter” test. It really works!
Just wanted to share my little paper crafting project and put in a little plug for my daughter!
My Paper Pumpkin turns 5 years old! If you subscribe by March 10th, you will receive a FREE GIFT with your subscription, along with a specially designed one-of-a-kind box! You can subscribe HERE.
One can never have too many birthday cards, right?
I off-set the Happy Birthday cut outs – Berry Bliss cardstock is underneath the Basic Black cardstock, off-set by about 1/8″.
I was inspired by Carol Payne’s card HERE! She is soooo creative!
Check out the Sale a Bration 2nd release of products HERE! You are going to fall in love with these products! One of the favorites from this catalog is the Blooming Basket Bundle with Basket Weave embossing folder!
Check out the video on these products here:
Please use Hostess Code to the right when ordering if your order is under $150.
Hope you have a wonderful day! Here are some cookies I made – still playing around with my airbrush sprayer that I got for Christmas! It’s so much easier than piping words with frosting! One little stencil is all it takes (and the airbrush system LOL)
Here’s a Valentine’s Day card for you, using the eclipse technique! I like to adhere with foam strips when doing this technique. The foam strips are a little bit thicker than Dimensionals and really give your projects a POP! To create the eclipse look, simply set the heart framelit right on top of the floral image you stamped on the Very Vanilla cardstock. Cut out the heart. Adhere the heart to Calpyso Coral cardstock and fussy cut close to the edge. Then POP this heart piece on the front of your card using Foam Strips! By the way, this stamp set is SO DETAILED, it looks 3-D with the shading of the rubber! VERY COOL!
The stamp set and ribbon are FREE with a qualifying order during Sale a Bration!
Another reason I LOVE Stampin’ Up is because you can DECORATE using your projects!
The first photo shows a project I made awhile ago, remember this post HERE?
I added the Valentine coffee cup candle to my 3-tier tray and it fits perfectly with the theme!
This tiered tray is one of my favorite decorating piece! I like to throw my small holiday items on there to make a centerpiece for my table! Many people ask me where I got my tray. Check out Painted Fox Home, they have the cutest decor items and a lot of different sizes and colors of these tiered trays!
Here’s a photo of my coffee niche, that I also decorate seasonally. You can see the smaller tiered tray on the right side. Can you tell I’m obsessed with Rae Dunn?
Just having a little fun with the holidays! Thanks for letting me share!
Come join me for a class, let’s get creative!
Don’t forget, it’s SALE A BRATION right now! FREE PRODUCTS! Check the catalog out on my right side bar!
