Spring/Easter Sampler PDF for Sale!

Gina and I teamed up and offered a local class for the Spring/Easter Sampler. Gina is the creative genius behind this! Her ideas are amazing!

We were not able to do kits over the internet this time around. However, the PDF is available – you will see how to make this, along with supplies needed, dimensions, instructions, and photos to complete the project. There are more than one stamp sets used in this project, so if you don’t have everything you need, we can order them for you, or you can substitute it with something that you have.

Gina’s trademark is adding lights to her creations, it is just gorgeous when it is lit up! There is so much dimension to this project, it’s so beautiful! I wish you could all see it in person!

You can view the Valentine sampler we did in January, that pdf is also available for purchase. You can view it HERE.

SPRING/EASTER SAMPLER PDF  $9.95

To order the pdf, please contact Gina Shappa HERE.

THIS IS NOT A KIT FOR SALE, IT IS A PDF FILE THAT WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU!

More weRETREAT Photos – COOL TREATS Projects

Here’s a couple of treat containers, one of them was a pillow gift at the weRETREAT. I found Erica Cerwin’s video tutorial on how to make these HERE. The thing I LOVE about this pattern is you can make the back piece as long as you want it, to fit whatever treat you put inside!

As I said earlier, the theme of the retreat was Summer FUN! All my make and takes were “Cool Treats” related. Here’s a little ice cream stand! The awning is scored at 1/4″ and 1″.

Those face coasters are a HOOT! Here are some more photos from our photo booth on Saturday night!

More weRETREAT PHotos

When I do overnight retreats, you can bank on receiving earplugs on the first night as your pillow gift….. JUST IN CASE! LOL Here is a SNORE-kel themed gift to go along with our “Summer Fun” theme for the weekend.

We also gave some chocolate for those late night projects!

More summer treats!

Easter Tasty Trucks Project

There’s lots of boxes out there on Pinterest using this cute little Tasty Trucks stamp set (which is FREE, by the way, with a $50 order!) Here’s an Easter version of it!

The dimensions for the inside box is 5″ x 2 1/4″
Score the 5″ side at 1 1/2″ and 3 1/2″
Score the 2 1/4″ side at 1/2″ and 1 3/4″

For the truck on the back side of this, I just traced the front one and cut out a 2nd one. There is no stamping on the back piece.

I made these for my team swap this month. How fun to add a name to the banner and set these by each place setting at your Easter dinner!
Hope you enjoy!

Ugly Sweater Christmas Team Party

Last week we had our team Christmas party, and what a FUN TIME we had! We had an Ugly Sweater Party. Here is our winner for the best sweater, Donna Kish (in the middle).

img_0496We also had a gift exchange. This is what I made for it. One of my team members (Gina Shappa) made the Kerr jar holder and I filled the jars with yummy Christmas candy. Gina is SO CREATIVE!!!watermarked-photo

Starbucks Gifts Are Always a Hit!

Starbucks has made is easy for papercrafters this year!
img_0588It’s easy to wrap gifts from Starbucks this year, I hardly had to do anything to the packaging! Love that their logo is “CRAFTED BY HAND AND HEART” this year!

To make the bag, I just used the bag from the store, and scored 1 1/4″ on the 2 sides and the bottom. That makes their flat bag gusseted, so you can fit a wider gift in it (like their adorable ornaments this year!) The ornament I chose to give is their signature cup, and on the opposite size it has the state of AZ on it.

img_0590I added the coffee cup pattern below. You can decorate the coffee cup any way you want! Our Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper goes well with this theme! I used a real Starbucks “hugger” and just trimmed the sides down to match my coffee cup, then adhered it to the front. Same with the Starbucks logo, I just cut it out and adhered it with Dimensionals.

img_0589The sentiment or gift card goes on the part that slides out of the cup. The lip stamp is retired, but have no fear, a new KISS STAMP will be coming out in the Spring Catalog!!!!

img_0586

Here are the dimensions of the coffee cup card. It is a little taller than 5 1/2″, so if you need this card to fit in an envelope, you may want to make it a tiny bit smaller. I didn’t put my card in an envelope, I just slipped it in the gift bag.

img_0593This is a photo of the inside piece that slides out.

img_0592This is the back of the same piece.

img_0591

When you adhere the coffee lid, put a strip of Tear Away Tape ON THE VERY TOP EDGE. You can see how I can still lift the bottom party. This is so the coffee lid will slide over the coffee cup. It will make more sense when you create it and slide it in the coffee cup card.

Hope you enjoy this! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

More Grinch….

Because of the numbers of attendees, we decided to do a tag swap for our combined group. Here is my swap display. Inspired by my creative downline, Sue Parker, who started the whole cable sweater craze! The face is from the Jar of Haunts stamp set.

fullsizerenderI made a couple of gifts for some special friends, here they are! I got the crates with the bottles in them at Scottsdale Bible Church in their gift store. When I saw them, I KNEW I had to alter them!!! LOL Pretty Pines Thinlits were used to create this. I found green sand at Hobby Lobby.

fullsizerender-2Sweet Becky Roberts made this Grinch themed gift for me, isn’t it adorable! Look at that packaging!!! I LOVE the towels, I will always remember our event when I use these!!! THANKS BECKY!!!! She also gave me the CUTEST little Grinch nugget holder, it’s so tiny! I love mini anything! LOL

This was our make and take for our event. Becky designed it – the unique thing about this card is you can pop the Grinch out and he can stand alone!

Grinch Party before the OnStage Event!

This was a BIG WEEK for my team and I! Twice a year Stampin’ Up puts on a BIG event for us demonstrators! We were blessed to have one of the events at the convention center in Phoenix this year!

To kick off the big event, Becky Roberts and I did a team get together on Friday. The theme was THE GRINCH! There are so many photos to share, so I will space them out so I don’t overwhelm you! LOL Tomorrow will be the FOOD!

My team of weSTAMPERS did an amazing job with their creativity and talent! We had so much fun brainstorming on what we could do to make this a fun event. THANK YOU TEAM weSTAMP!!!!!! I am forever grateful to you! I can’t wait to share photos with you!

As the guests walked in, we had the Grinch movie playing in the background.

img_9742Amazing weSTAMP Team – everyone had a part in this fun event!

Jackie wasn’t in the photo, but here she is! 🙂

watermarked-photoI made the grinch jars by painting Kerr jars green. I used my Cameo Silhouette to create the face. (Face is on both sides of the jar). Stuffing inside the jars are from Hobby Lobby. Fabric is from Joann’s. SO FUN to make!

As soon as I saw the Jar of Haunts, I spied those eyes and immediately thought THE GRINCH! That’s where the inspiration for this whole theme came from!

GRINCH FOOD IS TOMORROW!

Christmas Bear Treat

img_8567Baby Bear is a stamp set that can be used all year long! I love it paired up with the sweater folder! And how about some gummy bears to go with this! Fun Christmas treat for any age!

My favorite color combo for the bear is (and in this order): Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, and Early Espresso

Cookie Cutter Halloween Birthday Gift

If you know me well, you know I LOVE themed anything! Especially gifts! My sweet friend, Becky Roberts, celebrated a birthday this month. I always have a hard time keeping Halloween out of her birthday because it falls in the fun month of October.

Becky loves office type things, so here’s what I came up with!
watermarked-photo

watermarked-photoYou may recognize the mummy card from a previous post HERE.  I just added some lines behind the mummy using the stamp “Writing Notes” so the card would go with the theme. I also stamped on the envelope and used “Labeler Alphabet” to stamp her name on it.

I picked up the marker board at West Elm. You can also serve food on and write what you are serving on it (cheeses, meats, etc.)

The bag I picked up at Hobby Lobby, then sewed Pool Party and Real Red lines on it. I cut “becky” out with my Silhouette machine and ironed it on the bag. Super fun to make! 🙂 I saw the bag idea on Pinterest HERE.
