Sometimes I struggle with how to use Designer Series Paper with larger prints on them. I thought vellum would work well because you can see through it and not lose the print, but accent the sentiment. Voila!
This card is kind of an oxymoron given the print and sentiment. LOL
I can’t get enough of Party Pandas, which is FREE if you place a $50 order! This stamp set is so versatile because black and white goes with ANY color!
The bear is popped up on Dimensionals for a 3-D effect.

My first grandchild turned 3 last week! My daughter threw an amazing party with a mermaid theme. Here’s the card I gave sweet little Stella! Recipe below. The mermaid image was from the Silhouette store and I cut out with my machine.
Be sure and get this versatile birthday stamp set, because this one is retiring! I love the “debossed” image you get with the word CELEBRATE. They are fun to work with! See recipe below at end of post.
This was created on the notecards. They are a bargain! $6 for 20 cards, pre-scored and envelopes included! We made these at my birthday Stamp a Stack class.

Last month my son celebrated his 13th birthday! I made this game controller birthday card using the pattern found on the Silhouette website HERE . I love this pattern and will be making more of these for his friends! This pairs well with a Playstation gift card!
Here’s a birthday card with a surprise gift card holder inside! This card will lie flat so you can easily mail it!!!
You can find the tutorial on how to make the inside of this card on Becky Robert’s blog, Inking Idaho! It’s actually easier to make than it looks! Head over to her blog and take a look, will see MANY great projects there! The link is HERE. Once you get there, you will find it under her 2016 12 Days of Christmas!
If you know me well, you know I LOVE themed anything! Especially gifts! My sweet friend, Becky Roberts, celebrated a birthday this month. I always have a hard time keeping Halloween out of her birthday because it falls in the fun month of October.
Becky loves office type things, so here’s what I came up with!
You may recognize the mummy card from a previous post HERE. I just added some lines behind the mummy using the stamp “Writing Notes” so the card would go with the theme. I also stamped on the envelope and used “Labeler Alphabet” to stamp her name on it.
I picked up the marker board at West Elm. You can also serve food on and write what you are serving on it (cheeses, meats, etc.)
The bag I picked up at Hobby Lobby, then sewed Pool Party and Real Red lines on it. I cut “becky” out with my Silhouette machine and ironed it on the bag. Super fun to make! 🙂 I saw the bag idea on Pinterest HERE.
Brady and I were on the 6th grade class trip this week. I brought a bunch of work to post in my “down” time. As luck would have it, we didn’t have internet in our rooms! Here’s a quick photo of us at the Canyon! We had such a great time and the weather was beautiful! Sorry I couldn’t post while I was gone!
Recently I held a “Birthday Stamp a Stack” class. This was one of the cards we made. I will be sad to see “It’s My Party” Designer Series Paper gone! That paper is so versatile!
The candles have Dazzling Diamonds sprinkled on top to give it some sparkle.

Here is an example of the fun we had at our team meeting. We meet once a month for a free meeting, and it truly is one of the highlights of the month for me!
I have been having fun with the #i’mbringingbirthdaysback stamp that was created by Shannon West.
We had a big birthday celebration at our team meeting. Everything at our event was birthday related!
Here’s our make and take – I call it a “peek a boo card” because there is a hole punched out of the front of the bag, and a card in front with a balloon that peeks through!
A birthday party wouldn’t be complete without cake and ice cream – here it is – complete with our birthday stamp, #i’mbringingbirthdaysback.
You won’t find this stamp anywhere in the catalog, but you can order it! The item number is #143573 and it is $12.00. It’s fun to stamp this on the envelopes of the birthday cards you send! I promise hand made birthday cards will bring JOY to those you send them to!
#i’mbringingbirthdaysback is a BIG MOVEMENT in the Stampin’ Up World! Here’s a little birthday box I made to kick it off! (I saw the 3-D ice cream cone idea on one of our Artisan artists, Val Moody. She’s so creative!
Here’s a photo of Shannon West (on the right). Her story about bringing birthdays back is HERE. She even appeared on a TV show in Utah!
SOOOO….. I wanted to challenge my team of weSTAMPERS at our meeting last night to #bringbirthdaysback TOO!
SWEET SWEET Shannon West helped me out and stamped a bunch of envelopes with her NOT YET RELEASED stamp! Here is a photo of what came in the mail!
My team was in shock when I handed them all a hand stamped envelope from Shannon. They are going to post photos of their cards and envelopes on my team Facebook page. Many have already started her movement on their own blogs and Facebook pages! THANK YOU SHANNON WEST, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!
This stamp is available (item # 143573) but is already back ordered, due to all the demonstrators ordering it at midnight last night! You can still enter an order, and when it gets to that stamp it will prompt you to add your email address and they will alert you when it is back in stock.
