Our weSTAMP group met this month, and what a great time we had! Look at the treats Terri brought! Not only is she an awesome creative papercrafter, you can see she has the gift of BAKING as well!!! These are Lemon Coconut Peeper Cookies! I love how she presented the cookies in the Easter basket (with SU ribbon at the top, of course!) I have added Terri’s recipes (after receiving many emails requesting it!) Here it is! 1 box of Lemon Cake Mix (any brand) 1/3 cup oil 2 eggs 1 cup unsweetened flake coconut 24 butterscotch chips 48 miniature semisweet chocolate chips Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine cake mix, oil and eggs; beat until well mixed. Place coconut in shallow bowl. For each cookie, shape dough into one 1-1/2 inch ball and one 1/2 inch ball. Roll each ball in coconut; place on ungreased cookie sheet with smaller ball touching larger ball. Place cookies 1-1/2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes or until coconut just begins to brown. Immediately press 1 butterscotch chip for beak and 2 mini chocolate chips for eyes into smaller ball of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheet. Makes 24 cookies. To go along with the Coconut theme, she made a YUMMY Coconut cake!!! Isn’t that a cute little sign to let us know what kind of cake it was?
We start the evening off with a make and take. Peggy was our volunteer for this. This is a beautiful 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ card using the set Easter Blossoms. Peggy also did our 3 mn. demo for the evening. She showed us how to make a coordinating envelope to fit our 4 1/4″ card.
To make this envelope, first seal it shut. Then you cut off about 1″ of one side of the envelope. That will become the top of the envelope. Then cut a piece of DP the same width of your envelope by 2″. Score this piece at 1 1/4″ (on the long side). Tape the shorter side of the DP to the FRONT side of the envelope as shown below. Here is a photo of the backside of the envelope. Round the corners of the 2″ piece. This is the backside of the envelope with the flap up.
This is the backside of the envelope with the flap down.
THANKS Peggy! We all LOVED your project!
The theme of our swap this month was a 3-D Spring, Easter, or Mother’s Day project. Here they are!!

Shelley made us all a keychain out of a formica chip from Home Depot!
Linda R’s swap: (candy inside!)

Lorri’s swap, and recipe and can be found on previous post HERE.
Linda R made the doorprize this month. Isn’t this the CUTEST little dresser?? The drawes slide out (treats were inside!) If you have questions about her project, you can find her blog HERE.
Today is the LAST day to order from the Sale A Bration Catalog! You can earn FREE products by spending at least $50 in products! Also, in case you were interested in becoming a demonstrator, today is the LAST day to get the EXTRA $50 in incentives for signing up! Go to my SU website to sign up today! You can find the link HERE.
The theme for this month’s swap was 3-D Mother’s Day/Easter/Spring. I was kind of “stretching it” and added a tag that said “mom” on it, so I guess this technically fits the theme. LOL This gift idea is for the SERIOUS SHOPPER! This is a shopping bag, and I got the pattern off the Demonstrator site. Did you know if you are a demonstrator, you have access to MANY MANY free patterns and templates? See previous post HERE if you are interested in becoming a demonstrator! On the inside of the shopping bag is what every shopper needs, a VISA card!! LOL Just kidding! I couldn’t afford to get all the weSTAMP swappers a REAL Visa card, so I had to make my own. I did it by finding one on the internet and printing it on glossy paper to resemble a REAL Visa card. On the inside of the Visa card, I made up a poem, then added some Ghiradelli chocolate. Every shopper needs chocolate to keep her going!

The 3 mn. demo was given by Nancy. She showed us how to make these darling flowers out of punches! She shared the tutorial link HERE.
The doorprize was made by Leah. Isn’t this beautiful! The notebook has velcro on the back so when you are done with one notebook, you can easily add another blank one! VERY CLEVER!
We decided to do something totally different for our swap this month for weSTAMP. The theme was a 6×6 recipe page! I decided to use the recipe that I use the most. It’s so fast and easy. I do make my pie crust homemade (I took a pie-making class years ago). Most people don’t want to mess with that, so I just wrote the fast and easy way (STORE BOUGHT). Still good, but not quite as good as home made.More photos from our meeting to follow!! Recipe: (for 6×6 page LOL) Stamp Set: One Good EggPaper: Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Peach Parfait, Sweet Stitches DPInk: Basic Black, Daffodil DelightAccessories: Large Scallop / 2 1/2″ Circle Punches, Corner Punch, Daubers (for polka dots), Dimensionals (for scallop circle part), Pretty in Pink Chalk (for cheeks), Large Polka Dot Texturz Plate (Daffodil Delight background piece is embossed with this), Craft Feathers (top of chicken’s head)
Beak is 3-D, and formed by folding paper and cut into a beak shape.
Take a look at our swaps for our weSTAMP gathering this month! The theme was to use something out of the Spring Mini Catalog, OR out of the Sale a Bration Catalog. What a great group of CREATIVE GALS!
When we first meet in the evening, we do a Make and Take. Shelley Ellis provided this DARLING Valentine treat made from a flat paper bag. She sewed the bottom up to form a pouch. Isn’t this CUTE? We each got to make a white and kraft colored one!

The door prize was made by Lorri, and won by Leah! I CASED many of the items from Twila Davis. I don’t believe she has a blog, but if you are a Stampin’ UP demonstrator, you can find some of these items on Stampers Showcase!
I found the candy box pattern on Angie Kennedy Juda’s blog HERE. She is such a creative stamper, and it is so awesome that she posts video tutorials on her blog!! 🙂
I am so sorry that I have been away from blogging! I think my January was even more busy than December if you can believe that! I did many card classes this month, plus right in the middle of it was a trip to Minnesota for a wedding!
I am finally getting caught up around here, and wanted to share with you my swap for weSTAMP this month. The theme was a card using anything from the Spring Mini OR the Sale a Bration brochure.
I will post the rest of the swaps SOON, I think you are going to love them! Recipe: Stamp Set: Sew Suite, Pattern Pieces Paper: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Whisper White Ink: Early Espresso, Regal Rose (sewing machine), Crumb Cake Accessories: Blushing Bride 1/2″ Stitched Poly Ribbon, Decorative Label Punch, Dimensionals, Word Window Punch, Dauber, Watercolor Pen, Sticky Strip
I purchased the small calendars at Stamp On This. There are a lot of easel cards out there. I just measured one that I made last year. I did find a tutorial on SCS that can be found HERE. I stamped the ruler stamp right onto the ribbon! It is easy to do, the hardest part is just lining it up. I just used regular Classic Ink on that.
We had a gift exchange at our weSTAMP Christmas party. This is the gift I made for the exchange. I added the “Jingle All the Way” Decor Elements to the glass block. On the inside, I put a small strand of white lights and some inexpensive white tinsel that I found at Target.
Here is a photo of us during our gift exchange at weSTAMP. I wrote a silly little story entitled “Twas the Day Before My Stampin’ Up Preorder Came”. Everyone gathered in a circle and held the gift they made. Every time they heard the word STAMP or any form of the word STAMP, they passed their gift to the right. At the end of the story, whatever gift they in their hands is the one they got to open up. The poem that I wrote is below:
Twas the Day Before My Stampin’ Up! PreOrder Came
Twas the day before my Stampin’ UP preorder came And I was updating my blog. Not a creature was stirring Not even my dog.
All my swaps were laid out On the stamp table with care In hopes that Mr. Brown Soon would be there.
The children were nestled All snug in their school, While visions of stamping Caused me to drool!
And I, with glitter on my face And my fingers covered with ink Sat down to check out Stampin’ Connection In hopes of finding a COOL link!
When out on the street There arose such a clatter I sprang from my computer To see what was the matter!
My adrenaline rushed And a truck could be heard. Will my stamping obsession Ever be cured?
When what to my wandering eyes Should appear But a big brown truck With a large rear view mirror.
With a foxy little driver Who drove all over the town I knew in a moment It must be Mr. Brown!
He was dressed in all brown From his head to his socks All I could think of was MR. BROWN ROCKS!
A bundle of stamps He had flung on his back At this point I thought I was going to have a heart attack!
His eyes how they twinkled His dimples, how merry My obsession with Mr. Brown Is becoming quite scary!
Then onto my Stampin’ Up! boxes Which are stacked up quite high I can hardly even remember All the stamp supplies I did buy!
Stamp sets! Reinkers! And ribbons galore! Cardstock, and buttons! Now who could want MORE?
As I drown in my stamping goodies And grab a coffee with cream I suddenly realized It was only a DREAM!
The story is over Yes, you heard me right…. Merry Christmas to all, And to all a creative stamping night!
At our weSTAMP Christmas party we do a gift exchange. There were so many gals there that night, and it was hard to get a picture of everyone’s gifts. I hope the gals will send me the photos of their gifts so I can post them here! This is the DARLING gift I received from my stamping friend, Leah. Isn’t this CUTE!!! It is sure makes my armoire FESTIVE! LOVE IT, and great job on these Leah! THANK YOU SO MUCH! You can find Leah’s blog HERE, and I think she even has the link on her blog how she created these.
Monday night we had our annual weSTAMP Christmas party!! What a great time we all had! Paper crafting, yummy food, wonderful friends, and a gift exchange that was amazing! Rachele Sanclemente is the amazing gal behind the scenes. She came up with this Christmas project for our group. She has been working on this for weeks, pulling together all the details to make this project happen! THANK YOU RACHELE!!! I am so appreciative for you and all your hard work. It was such a fun, festive Christmas project! Rachele made 3 different houses to show us many different options that we could make. (We all got to create a house made out of the largest size.)
This is the one that I made
Barbara made treats for all the weSTAMPERS. Inside the boxes are some Christmas sweets. Thank you!!
This is a gift from Nancy and I to our downlines. The recipe for the cookies was found on another blog, which can be found HERE. Check it out! These treats are homemade oreo cookies with frosting in the middle, and then dipped in crushed peppermint candy canes.
I took SO MANY photos from the evening. I compiled a few of them and put them into this slideshow. ENJOY!!
Did I catch your attention with this adorable baby? He is SO PRECIOUS and really stole the show at our weSTAMP meeting this month! Remember the baby shower we threw for Pam? (See this post HERE.) INTRODUCING…….KYLE, who came 6 weeks early! What a BEAUTIFUL BABY!
Linda R provided our cute little Santa treat hat Make ‘n Take. Isn’t this cute? It was a lot easier than I thought it would be! The cardstock is embossed using the Petals a Plenty embossing folder. The pattern was found on Kimberly Van Diepen’s blog, which can be found HERE.
The swap theme this month was to make a Christmas/Holiday/Winter card or 3-D item. I tell you when we swap, it is like Christmas every month! Here they are!

It’s that time of the month again….NO NOT THAT TIME!!!!! I mean the weSTAMP get together, when I get to share the OVER THE TOP projects with you!!! Hold on gals, you’re in for a TREAT! The first thing we do when we gather is our Make and Take. Barbara provided that for us this month. This is what we made. It’s a circle purse and the inside part is the mini lunch sack featured in the Holiday Mini Catalog. Our swap theme this month was anything (card or 3-D item) with a Fall / Halloween / Thanksgiving theme to it. Here you go!!! Tracy’s swap: Leah’s swap: Rachele’s swap: Peggy’s swap: Adriana’s swap: Jennie’s swap: Terri’s swap: (by spinning the spider web dial, you can get the candy out of the card through a hole in the back so the card won’t be ruined!)
