Our theme for weSTAMP this evening was a card from the Occasions Mini OR the Sale a Bration brochure. I chose to use the Chocolate Bunny stamp from the Occasions Mini. The bunny is embossed so in real life, you can see the ripples on his body, which simulates the CHOCOLATE, of course!
I did this same fold in my Girl’s Day/Night Out class this month. You can see that post HERE.

We had our annual “weSTAMP” Christmas party this week!! What a fun evening, and great attendance! We started out the evening with some YUMMY snacks, then moved onto our “Shoebox Swaps”. Here are the projects we made, and the gals who provided the projects.
Melissa’s Make and Take: Linda B.’s Make and Take: (the black is soot from a burning candle, then stamped the image – no ink! – the stamp lifts the soot off! Cool technique!) Another Make and Take by Melissa:Barbara’s Make and Take:
Rachele’s Make and Take: We also had a voluntary gift exchange. The only rules were that it had to be hand-made. Two gals can’t post yet because they are making more and giving them as gifts, and don’t want the recipients to see them here. Here are the projects, and the gals who created them:Melissa: Peggy:
Our weSTAMP group met last night, and what a FUN night we had!! I just love these gals, they inspire me every time we meet!
Linda B. created our Make and Take to start off the night. It’s a cute Thanksgiving card. LOVE the color combo, and we got to use the Spritzer tool!
Our swap theme for October was anything (card or 3-D) that was Christmas related. Here they are!

We had another awesome weSTAMP meeting this month! We always start our meeting with a make and take. Barbara taught us all how to make a tissue holder. There is a wonderful tutorial for this on Barbara’s blog HERE. THANKS Barbara! The bulk of our meeting was instruction (by Pam) on My Digital Studio! Pam really is an expert in this area, and we are so thankful for the time she invested learning this program so she could teach us!Here are our swaps for our weSTAMP meeting tonight. As always, we start the evening off with a make and take. I saw this sketch, and thought I would use this design for our make and take.
I am always inspired by the diverse creativity by our group! Hold onto your hats, and get ready for amazing swaps!

The pattern for the folds were found on SCS HERE. This is called a Stair Step Fold. I followed Beate’s instructions, but instead of making the card 5 1/2″ across, I made mine 4 1/4″ across. It was my HUSBAND’S IDEA to tie the ribbon around LOOSLY so it stays together like an accordian, yet you can still see the stair step effect with this. If you want to mail it, it will squish down inside an envelope, but when it stands upright, and you view it from the side, it expands about 3/4″. I will use mine as a decor piece by my computer. 🙂
Last but not least, was this AMAZING door prize, provided by Linda Rodenberg. Her blog can be found HERE. It is the cutest purse made out of paper (larger than you think!!) and it was FULL of fun surprises inside. Look at the detail in this!! Way to go Linda, this is just beautiful!
We always start our weSTAMP meetings with a Make and Take. Nancy Riley came up with this beautiful card, showcasing the medallion-look made with the SCALLOP PUNCH!! (By the way, read the next post down and find out how YOU can own this punch and make beautiful projects like this….the punch is now 30% off!!!)
Patti did our 3 mn. demo and taught us how to make a slider card!! Isn’t this cool?
I think everyone would agree one of the highlights of our weSTAMP group is the swaps we do! Here are the June swaps. The theme was ANYTHING GOES!

Boy we sure have FUN at our weSTAMP meetings!! In case you don’t know what weSTAMP is, let me tell you! Nancy Riley (iSTAMP) and I hold monthly downline meetings to meet with our downline members. We CREATE, train, encourage, learn from others, LAUGH, swap, eat yummy food, and MAKE NEW FRIENDS!!! If YOU are interested in joining our group, please email me and let me know. Don’t hesitate if you are an out-of-towner! We have out of state members who participate, too! You will be included in emails, and can take part in swapping, too. We have our own personal website which is an AWEOME tool for staying connected.
Watch for future postings, there is going to be an AWESOME deal going on for new recruits starting on July 15th. It’s a SMALL investment for GREAT rewards and DISCOUNTS! Details to follow on my blog.
We had our monthly meeting last night. Our swap theme was ANYTHING GOES! That means we could make a card or 3-D item. This is what I made. I saw this on Susie’s blog, which you can find HERE. (She also has a downloadable pattern for this truck on her blog.) Check it out! You can make ANY kind of truck! My son made a bus and a mailtruck with this same pattern.
I also put a picture of the new catty in a plastic key ring that I ordered from Oriental Trading Company. The catty key chain was stuck in the back of the UPS truck.
Some people just don’t “get” this 3-D item. (Like my husband.) If you are a Stampin’ Up demonstrator, I know you understand our obsession with “Mr. Brown”.
I will post the rest of our swaps SOON! I need to get some pictures taken!!
We had our weSTAMP downline meeting last night. Here is a photo of the doorprize that I made. I saw this idea on Nicole Heady’s blog and thought it would be fun to make. The link to her blog is HERE. Becky Roberts also has a DARLING one made, and you can see hers HERE.
Inside the box you will find a cake mix to make your cupcakes. The front pouch holds some birthday cards. When you open up the front flap, you will find sprinkles for decorating the cupcakes. The wrapped can has some frosting inside.
Watch for future posts – I am going to be offering this as a class soon! I was just waiting for the new catalog and new papers!!! I’ll keep you posted.
This is the make and take project we did at our weSTAMP meeting. I found the birdhouse pattern on Nicole Heady’s blog, which can be found HERE. I have searched and searched on her blog for the picture, but for the life of me I can’t find it on her blog!!! I know it is there somewhere because that is where I found the pattern for this. You can dowload the pattern HERE.
Here are the rest of the swaps this week from our May weSTAMP meeting. The theme for the swap was a “gatefold” card. GOOD JOB GIRLS!!

She got it at Ritz Camera, which is now going out of business. You can put whatever paper, picture, etc. you would like inside the barrell of the pen. THANKS RACHELE!
We ended on kind of an EXCITING note. Look what came to visit us! My husband actually stepped on it as he was coming in the front door. You should have heard us all BUZZING after that happened!!! LOL
We had a GREAT weSTAMP gathering last evening. I get refreshed, rejuvenated, and REALLY REALLY FULL from delicious TREATS! LOL I’m so happy to share with you some things from our get together!
We always start our evening with a make and take. This month Barbara taught us how to make these cute little treat bags out of an envelope. Aren’t they cute and springy? Great job Barbara, they were fun to make.
The theme of our swap was a sketch from the MoJo Monday blog. Here is a picture of the sketch we followed this month.
Lorri’s Swap: I ran across Dawn’s tutorial on how to make faux wood grain, so immediately I thought of the stamp set Tool Time. Dawn has an awesome video on how to get this wood grain look. You can find the video HERE. Recipe:Stamp Set: Totally Tool, Sanded, All HolidaysPaper: More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Naturals Ivory, Always ArtichokeInk: Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Going Gray, (For Faux Wood, I used Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, More Mustard, Craft White)Accessories: Non Stampin’ Up Brads, Twill Tape, 1 1/4 & 1 3/8″ Punches, Paper Piercer
3-MN Demo by Pam Pam showed us how to cover a Kit Kat candy bar! It only uses 1 6×6 piece of paper and is an great project for May, when the focus is on Designer Series Paper!!
Door Prize by Ginny Isn’t this BEAUTIFUL? Ginny made this door prize. It is stackable boxes with a rooster theme. How PERFECT and clever to add a tag using the 2nd Level Hostess set: Rustic Rooster!

Another goodie inside the purse!
Here is an extra treat Ginny made for all of us at the get together! Awesome packaging and the floating candles were a HIT! THANKS GINNY!
Tonight’s weSTAMP meeting was entitled “Getting Back to the Basics”. We didn’t have a “traditional” meeting, we STAMPED the whole time! Here is the project we made at our get-together. It was designed by the infamous Becky Roberts! I highly recommend Becky’s patterns, they are easy to follow (she knows SHORTCUTS!) and are very reasonably priced! I just love her patterns! You can find Becky’s awesome blog, (Inking Idaho) HERE. THANKS BECKY!
